Anybody else following the weather in Alaska? I though this was funny - the forecast today in Juneau is a high of 48F and here at home it is only going up to 37F, I think I need to go to Alaska to get warm!

That is also warmer than us, we are supposed to be 46 today!

The FE Repo Roster has been updated, as everybody now seems to have rooms. (Not lifeboats!)

Based upon several PM's I received, I'm going to change my meet location to make it easier for everybody. I will also hang out with Ken & Cayla on deck 10 from 2:30-3:30 unless the weather is bad then we will be in the promenade lounge. This way there is just one meeting location for everything. (Sorry about the change Georgie, I know you just updated the 1st post. UGH.)
My Fe-repo-rosters will be printed on ORANGE paper. If you have a change/upgrade at port, please find me as soon as possible.

Now, get packing!

I am predicting the weather will be Sunny and warm in LA, with a little ocean breeze! It is actually going to be 90 in Anaheim one day this week, then dropping back down in the 70's. That's inland, so it's always a little cooler at the ocean, but a month from now it should be nearly hot!

GETTING YOUR LANYARDS AND NAME BADGES
If your name is on this list (except for those on the "not confirmed" list), I have a name badge and lanyard for you. Please make an effort to pick them up.

Name badges and lanyards will be available at the following locations:

In Los Angeles:
At the terminal - I will get there fairly early - you will have to play "Where's Ken" to find me. It probably won't be to difficult - just ask the people with the special lanyards and name badges.

(I've asked Bob of BobandLee to post a picture of Shari and I to help you in your quest to find me)

On Deck 10 - Starboard side (that's the right side of the ship) - overlooking the Goofy pool from 2:30 to 3:30pm - if it's raining, I will move to the Promenade Lounge.

Thanks, Karen or Ron! I am curious to see I Am Number 4, and I hate to admit it, but I still haven't seen Tangled! Tron: Legacy was a great follow-up to the original movie, and I am looking forward to seeing it again.

Dunno if anybody has mentioned this before...but if any of you will be tooling around the Union Square area while we're in SF the new Disney Store is on Stockton St near the Apple Store/Market St (visible from Market St).

This store is 2 stories tall, nice. Anyway, it has "city specific" merchandise which is to say they have shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, key chains, magnets, etc. that have San Francisco and familiar things like the Golden Gate Bridge along with your favorite Disney characters. We were fortunate during our visit earlier in the month and many things were on sale.

So if you want something that says both San Fran and Disney...there is your place to go!

I'm about a day or two from totally freaking out. In 4 weeks I will be off work for 3 weeks (I get to come back to dental work!). I have so much office work to do I need another person. The thought of being gone that long...normally I wouldn't care...but the last time we took 3 weeks off was a Panama repo...I think my job duties and responsibilities have increased about 200% since then.

At least work is quiet leading up to our depature...spring break here so the office should be calm. Plus we get that Friday off which will be great for last-minute packing!

I have been looking at them for almost a year - nothing reasonable. I have heard that some folks found a midsized car for about 200 one way...me - no such luck.

Yikes! I just checked and ours is $75 from YVR to Bellingham through Avis - it was another $40 to head to Seattle (we checked because we weren't sure which airport we wanted to fly out of). We're picking the car up the night before, so I'm not sure if it would have been cheaper if it was just a day rental.
