DH Joe and I are still interested if the DIS bus if you can pull something together.

MJGirl - Thanks so much for the work you started on this. We will miss you on this cruise but look forward to joining up in Vancouver for the Alaska trip!

Thanks again!
Georgie

I believe this is from Disneyland to the port, for those of us staying in hotels prior to the cruise. The original plan was to put together something which would be cheaper than DCL $35 as well as something to get us to the port earlier.

Has anybody come up with a game plan....we are flying in a day prior, just incase, staying @ the Embassy Airport South, and thinking on taking a towncar to the port...but Would love to meet up with others.
Please keep us in mind...

Thanks

To my fellow cruises that have access to booking DH was asking if there are any shore excursions that are set up so you can book two while in port. Since we don't have access to the times until we book we were trying to plan ahead. We are CC Gold so we get to stay up this Tuesday :banana:night to book our shore excursions. To all our fellow cruisers that are in the current snow/ice belts stay warm and safe. We had flurries yesterday in Williamsburg but nothing was left this morning. Sue

We LOVE Williamsburg, and have said one year we'd like to be there for the Grand Illumination!

I haven't looked at all of the excursions for SF, however I did see that on the first night in port there is a night excursion for Chinatown and sightseeing, which leaves the day open for something else.

I agree it would be most helpful for DCL to post times for the excursions prior to booking. It makes planning easier.

How early are you allowed to be at the port in LA? And what time does the embarkation process begin? (yeah yeah yeah ... in other words how quick can we get on the ship?) ;)

We booked our airfare today and are also doing the Final Payment Dance!!!

party:

Bring on the shore tour, Palo and spa ressies! :woohoo:

Anybody else staying up late tomorrow night to make reservations?

Oh, thats right - I guess you are doing the BTB. :) We are just doing the Repo so we only have to do it once.

I'm hoping that we get the big snow they're talking about tonight so I can work from home tomorrow. That way I can sleep in a little :faint:

BOO HOO... Not me, We are on the 27th. So... if don't book what we want. ;)

Oh, I'm sorry :sad2: This is my first cruise as gold so I'm a little excited :yay:

It's okay... there is only one thing we have our hearts set on, and we are guessing not everybody wants the same thing!

Showers of Pixie Dust for everyone staying up tonight!!! There are many excursions out there all waiting for folks to book them! ;)

We will definately have to meet up. If you book early enough for GI I can help you with reservations. I am the Risk Manager at Colonial Williamsburg. Grand Illumination is awesome especially the 18th century fireworks many of which are connect to the buildings! Sue

Sue! Sounds like a plan!!! For our 5th wedding anniversary we stayed in one of the Colonial Houses on a side street one HOT July (and the ac broke!). It was so magical to walk the streets, take the tours and then "go home" for a break. It was like staying on property at WDW! ;) We even spoke of staying in a house again, maybe on the green and signing up for the GI.

Our 15th will be this year, thus the cruises! BUT, we would really love to go back to Williamsburg to visit. Yes, let's connect on the ship! Your job sounds factinating.

Just got home from Phoenix today to LOTS of snow and ice. Hopefully I won't fall asleep before 12 tonight so I can book my excursions since I have had very little sleep the last few days. But even if I don't get what I want - we are National Champs!!!:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:
