Even though we can book excursions tomorrow we are not.

Since we live locally to SF we have done all these on our own already. My DH was born and raised in SF so I have my own private tour guide that is free!

So we hope that everyone gets what they want!!!

We have yet to decide what to do on our own. Just the thrill of going under the Golden Gate on the ship will make the whole cruise WONDERful.

We could always drive home and do laundry..... just a joke....I'm NOT doing laundry....

Howdy all!

Seems hard to believe that these cruises are as close as they are....

We booked the first day and I sort of put these on the back burner because they were so far away and we had the WBTA in between. Now they have snuck up on me!

What really scares me are all the layers of fluffy clothes we have to pack. We have lived in Texas for quite a few years and I don't "do" cold as well as I used to!

Since we are going to be short on luggage space, I have asked HilaryOne to take up off the fish extender list. I know I won't have room to spare. I didn't on the WBTA and I really tried to limit what I took!

I hope the website cooperates tonight. I hear that some had trouble logging on for other cruises last night and today. At least it won't be a repeat of the WBPC in 2008, they don't have the fishes anymore. Does the ship move when you are waiting or does it just sit there?

You can't print it out, but I emailed myself the link and was able to save it as a pdf in ibooks, so I can have it with me in San Fran!

Ugh...me, too. I can log into my account fine and open the cruise and our "saved list" of activities....but when I try to open the "my cruise plans tab" it goes to a "please wait" screen with a picture of the ship and just sits there endlessly and never opens up the screen where you can book anything. I am already up past my usual bedtime by almost an hour....if I stay up until after midnight and the site doesn't work I'm going to be REALLY annoyed

Can't retrieve my stupid reservations, keep getting an error message. Also checked my Visa and the payment hasn't shown up there, so don't know if that will mean I can't book anything even if I DO get on. GRRRRRRR.


In the meantime, have you all see the assorted posts with links to pictures of the Dream. That sure has been fun!

Right there with ya....I'm watching the snow fly outside and am hoping for a snow day tomorrow. DCL made the mistake of asking me if I would complete a survey about my experience using their website tonight....don't think they'll like my responses = especially to the question "What can we do to improve our site?" My response was something like - to have it actually work, would be a great improvement!!!!

If you called DCL to make your final payment, I'm sure you'll be okay even though it hasn't posted to your credit card, it usually takes a couple of days for my charge to show up on my credit card, but I can usually see that my credit limit has reduced by my amount of my payment.

Can't make any progress either.

I tried accessing it from my castaway club, I tried inputting my reservation number and birthdate on the other screen as well.. Just a picture of the ship.

Thought maybe it was just Windows, tried the ipad... same old, same old.

Seriously, does any one know if the ship is supposed to move? How do you know if it is working?
