I am off to do the running around that comes with kids on this day...... When did the kids get to the point that it is because of them the day is more busy? Oh, that was PARENTHOOD..........

It is a snowy windy COLD day here in Nebraska...I feel sorry for all the delivery people here today...Feiste...hope your weather is good today, beings how you will be out in it all day

Packing remains only a thing I keep thinking I should be doing LOL!!!! But I'm not to worried, as I have always said" I work better under pressure

The girls have 4 days off this weekend, so we are off to Denver for a few days,I figure after that, I will get serious..

Has anyone had trouble going on DCL website, and checking your reservations...I tried it a few days ago, and then again last night, I just can't get on, once I put my cruise info in..it just sets there..like it is trying to connect me, but just can't
If it is just me..I guess I will have to put in a call...

Go ahead BJ call...... I call everyday....... (No guys who do not know the running joke, I do not call DCL EVERYDAY; just MOST days). No really I do not, the thing is I always call if I have a question or if I think myinformation on the main thread is correct and someone tries to argue me.... So I hope that clears that up for some of the newer people... So whenever there is a disagreement, I just say, hold on, let me call and see... After all I am working on that book MIC has me writing......

I was able to check on my reservation yesterday and the day before BJ.... I got on without any problems, now grant it I did it in the middle of the night when I should have been sleeping... I was hoping the upgrade fairy is passing out . Maybe you can not get on because they are up-grading you to the RRD Suite.... You know, in celebration of the

Hey Have fun on your "Non-College Road Trip".... DID YOU HEAR......... In celebration of my Birthday the entire ship is dressing up and to celebrate Maddies's Birthday, we have all decided to wake up REALLY EARLY, dress up but one notch down from my night- after all she is a kid (of course NO JEANS) @ dinner. And now for the biggie..... RAVEN HAS DECIDED IN CELEBRATION of OUR BIRTHDAYS......... To let us be the first group of people to see her FIRST MOVIE with Martin Lawerence............ "College Road Trip...."

Can't wait for the premear. Unfortunately, this probably means that on the Saturday of our last day we'll be up at midnight watching the new showing! They rarely show the movie in waking hours, until AFTER it's been released. Since it opens on 3/7 we will probably have to wait.....

Okay, forgive me if you are a real poster and are truly joining our thread, but I want to know if this is really Mike? Being a new poster, just joining and then bringing up one of my most hot buttons, jeans at dinner I can not but to think this is a MAD joke. Again forgive me if I am wrong..... Until I find out, no comment....

Sorry for the delay getting back to this board. I got the IM Tink, tried to reply but don't think it went through as I have only left 1 message prior to this post. I think I get the idea on the jeans subject. Not a big issue since I like wearing my khakis. The DM will be happier fitting in so jeans isn't an issue with her either. The DK's really don't care what pants they wear!

One more question to the group...Well I have many, but only time to ask one now . How do the rules for attire apply in reference to wearing white (shoes and pants). In certain places, it is frowned upon to wear white before Easter. Does this hold true on the boat or is it ok????? Seems like it should be fine since it is a Caribbean Cruise.

DH got me the cutiest card that plays the "Love Boat" theme song. The front of the card has a ship that hubby modified to look like the Disney Magic plus the island looks like Castaway Cay !

It was so cute !!

Welcome!!! I say, fashion is what people tell you to wear, style is what you like to wear. I personally will be wearing black pants every night -- but am bringing a pair of white dressy shoes. I say, if you like white -- wear white.....maybe no tshirts saying "I'm voting for Bin Laden for President" -- that may be frowned on......and don't wear jeans if you have late dinner seating.....and of course, the website says no shorts or swim attire.....

Frankly, my co-teacher pays $450 for her jeans (unfathomable to me!), but I would definatley let her wear those to a state dinner if she wanted to -- at that price!

I'm cynical and sick tonight --- can everyone tell?

I agree with you Rani, wear whatever makes you happy !! I love jeans, I hate slacks and skirts. I love capri's and shorts. What do you love ? Whatever it is wear it. But if it is a Bin Lauden T-shirt that might be going over board or you might be throw over board. (Rani your just too funny)

I think if it was me ..I would give the gift to her before the cruise...that way on her birthday, she won't have to be wondering about her big gift..and she can enjoy all the fun litttle surprises that await her during the day

I say, put it in a huge box and leave it wrapped at home. Then give her clues while you're on vacation to keep her insuspense. But you could still give her a necklace or earrings on the actual day.

My favorite thing..... I am required to wear long skirts to work on Sundays -- so I have about 25 of those ( Iwear about eight of them...) But I love the microfiber athletic pants -- they fit amazing, have ELASTIC, stylish cuts and can be dressed up or down. I have worn them to formal and holiday dinners and they looked great. Of course, they're all black....but I look for other colors if that counts....

We too were on the March cruise as well last year...But I don't think that we met??? We did however see Wild Hogs while onboard, and thought it was funny...This year the premere movie is "College Road Trip" w/ Raven Symone, my girls are looking forward to that, it does look cute.

I am not sure if we met either...I did meet Alanpapa, but that was about it. We had 2 other couples that we knew on the same ship with us that were not DIS-ers from our hometown that occupied a lot of our time.

Haven't received cruise docs either ...my TA said 3 weeks prior, sooooo hoping any day now!

Hello everybody! I am a very latecomer to this thread, but my family and I will be on the 3/1 Eastern cruise. It will be DH, DD10 and me, plus my Dmom, Ddad, Dsis, her hubby and Dnephews 5 and 6.

I've become a cruise maniac in the last few days, studying Navigators online, making shirts, looking into making magnetic signs, etc. I've even starting packing a little.

Hope to see some of you on the cruise and make some new friends.
