BJ, Did you get your studd, I mean "STUFF" together after the movie. We now really know what goes on in your house after movie night. I guess Mike and Mad Wife can not rotate in the BJ/RJ room. Everyone, I will bring some motion tablets just in case we have unexplained, "Rocky Seas".



Okay I feel the need to clear this up, with everyone who wasn't in on the chat....I was trying to type fast AND keep up with reading what everyone was posting.... and accidently hit the D key instead of the F key...which in turn lead me to misspell STUFF!!!!!

Rani, DCL does do Kosher if you send in a medical request form. It is one of the options on the bottom of the form. I heard they are very very strick with it as well. I think you should send in the form and let them know, so they have enough on the ship so that it is still an option for you. I heard that it is truly preped and cooked 100% the correct way. I heard that they even addressed it in the Gallary tour that they had a seperate station just for it so that it does not get cross contaminated with the other foods. I was going to ask you that, but somehow forgot. Sorry....... If you want, down-load a form and send it in for more options.

Yes, I am excited the entire ship is dressing up in honor of my 25th Birthday. I am happy you guys got everyone in on it including Mickey and Minnie. Thanks, I feel so ed.

I can tell you one thing, I must have been sleeping about the 9AM idea. The Tinkerbell Family never wakes up until 9AM. We usually close both clubs..... We will have to make that a different time. Maybe that first night after later dinner if you guys are not too tired. Remember Jen and Brenda are camping out with the smores the night before at port. Jen Pack the tent yet?

I am not crazy strict with the kosher -- I just don't eat non kosher meat or shellfish or mix milk and meat. After looking at those menus -- there was just so much that looked amazing that didn't fall into those catagories that there was NO need to say anything....I'll probably just tell our servers that I don't eat meat -- it's easier that way. I can't wait to eat on this ship!

PS - about the meeting schedules and such -- any way it can be included on Kim's list somehow so we can't print out all the pertinent info in one place?

Are you guys doing anything ? I know EJK said she might stay home with DD, hope she's doing better. I rather watch it at home but since we have no TV that won't work. Also I've got to get up at 2:30am again so I'll only get to see a little bit. I really like watching football but earning dead presidents is more important.

DH told me about ya'lls disscusstion about rebooking on board, he did not say no. But I know we can't unless he has a job. Still no word from anyone even old job but fingers are crossed. My luck he'll get one right before we leave and can't come with us !

oh, also as you can tell blond is NOT my natural hair color ( I was a pale blond growing up ) I'm a burnett and plan to stay that way. I'm to lazy to get it color every 6 weeks and to cheap. No Superbowl plans here. As a matter of fact DH is getting ready to go to the airport right now for a conference in NY. He'll spend most of the game on the plane.

No Super Bowl plans, here. The DS has just called from one party to say he is going onto a second party and will need picked up at 7:30. 13 and he has more fun than his parents....

Maybe I should just be grateful I got out of the house today to see a movie - it sounds great until I say that I went to see Hannah Montana with the DD (7) and two girlfriends.

I am game to try to hit 100 posts.

So, quick questions, somewhere on the boards (and heaven help me where) I saw that you could buy $3 souvenir cups. Can anyone verify?

Thanks to those who could offer a little guidance on teens - my son is looking forward to the cruise now that he know he has an option other than the Stacks.

On another note, keep your fingers crossed that my family and I actually make it onboard. Between Michigan winters and the fact that I will be in Alexandria, VA for the whole week prior to our leave, I am a little nervous. By the way, as I am flying in from Alexandria on Friday the 29th and meeting my family at the airport to immediately fly out to Florida I am much like Rani - a packing crazt woman!

Portland, Michigan - halfway between Lansing and Grand Rapids.

I grew up in Birmingham, went to school in Grand Rapids, settled in the Ann Arbor area, with in-laws in Grand Rapids. I have been to the Portland Mcdonald's 100's of times on the road trips back and forth across the state!

Nice to have another Michigander on the cruise! Now the big question... Wolverines, or Spartans?
