SIMULTANEOUS WITH YOU!

and my favorite hobby :laundy: :laundy: :laundy: :laundy:

GOOD MORNING!

Ahhh, my least favorite thing in the world. Laundry. I will be doing that in mass tomorrow. Tomorrow the carpet people are coming for Audrey's room, and I have taken the day off work, so I will be folding all day!

Have a great day!

Jennifer

oh no! something is wrong with the ticker -- it's going the wrong way - we're back up to one month and one day!

POD ALERT:

Grace after our Mardi Gras celebration on the 06 Western:

This reminds me about the "little gifts" idea. Grace collected all of these goodies courtesy of the folks from the DIS Boards. We picked an at sea day, and just handed stuff out on deck. If all of you are interested in bringing little gifts for the kids I'm for it as well. We could pick a day to pass them out, we could do the rotating bags between the rooms, or we could just drop stuff in front of stateroom doors. Whatever works for me. OTC keeps sending me shopping cart updates. I think they want me to check out already!!!

Jen, Remember this photo taken in Costa Maya-circa 2006?

Hi all,

I was so excited to find the DIS boards and then to find one for folks on the 3/1/08 Magic cruise. My husband and I are taking our second cruise (first one with Disney) and bringing our kids (Kait - 7 and John - 13). I am a little nervous about whether my son will "fit" in at the Stack as he is at the young end of the age range. Has anyone cruised with a 13 year old boy and would be willing to tell me how it went?

Thanks.

First of all :welcome:

I don't have a 13 year old boy...but I do have a 14 year old daughter, we cruised last March when she was 13 and she showed no interest in the stack because of the age difference as well...I have another daughter that is 11, and so they mostly hung out at the Occean Quest together (a club for kids ages 10-14)

So I can't really tell you anything about the stack...although kshabare aka Norm and Kim have a son that I think is the same age as well..if not exactly, then real close, so I sure they will be able to help you out alot more:)
Again WELCOME!!!!!

I love that photo! As you can tell the Caribbean does wonders for my hair! (Rani I may need to borrow those scissors!)

Josh is 13 now. Last sail he was 12 so he's only able to go to the Stack now. But, I'm not sure how much time he'll spend there. He was more than happy to just hang with Travis and some of the other DIS kids. We did sign him up for the clubs though - I wanted Josh to be able to go to the club if he couldn't find us and he could page us.

I formatted my older post with a picture (check it out!).
