I'm so jealous, I logged on at midnight and it was booked !!!! I called Disney and the CM said she thinks they start at Pacfic time not Eastern !! I wanted to do the Brunch ! I did get Palo on Friday, that seemed the best night for us. I guess I got to stay organized and pack ahead of time, like that's going to happen ! I really enjoyed chatting too. I'll be there for the gruop chat unless James makes plans, if so I'll let you know. Madison is so excited to talk to Christopher, she ask all the time if he's written back.

Madison would love to chat with other kids too. If anyone wants to swap emails PM me.

I don't know if you guys know but I also asked the CM about our cruise and she gave me the "special" days. Maybe you lucky ones who have cruised know this but here it goes.

March 2nd Sunday is Formal night
March 4th Tuesday is Pirate Night
March 6st Thursday is Semi-Formal

Hey all!! Quick hello and HAPPY HOLIDAYS to my friends crusing on March 1. I'm living vicariously through you and following your posts. Sorry to hear of the latest hardships, but I hope that you all work through them and find much needed R&R on the cruise.

We rebooked for Feb 28, 2009, and it happens to be a special itinerary - going to St. Croix instead of St. Maarten - so I think that's a good thing. So...if any of you want to re-book on board for February 2009, let me know...

I had a dream last night that somehow we stowed away to meet Brenda and Ron and the girls on this trip - of course, nothing in the dream looked like anything on the Magic, but it was some kind of cruise ship anyway! So I was on board and just remember saying "but I don't want to sleep in a deck chair again tonight" : and then the next thing I remember is that we were being escorted off the boat - but not onto land, but onto some kind of helicopter (I know - try to interpret that one, Dr. Phil) and I asked them if we'd get charged for the helicopter ride, and they just gave me one of those evil movie-grins. I woke up right after that. Pretty freaky...

I miss you all - I'll still check in from time to time to see how the planning is going. In the mean time, enjoy the holidays. I hope you get (or got) everything you want this year, and will have a great time on your 2008 trip.

Welcome!!!!...I'm thinking that you and your family were on our cruise meet thread for last March, but then ended up changing your sail date???

So...is everyone thinking yay or nay on the group brunch..I think that we should get the ball rolling if we choose to do this...and even still, my TA wasn't 100% sure we could do it...We need the STORY"S!!!!
Mark and Johnna set this up for us last March, and it worked out great...we did it on Monday, and that seemed to work well...it gave us one day(sunday) on the ship to get kinda settled... but also was early enough into the cruise that we got to meet, and get to know each other, so during the week when we ran into each other, we knew who was who!!!!

atinkerbellmom..I know that is your birthday, and you and your husband wanted to have brunch together that day..

Maybe if a group brunch dosen't work out.... we can always just meet before the sail away party,(that way the kids can meet each other as well) we did this also last year, and that worked out well...Just let me know what you are thinking

Oh Johnna, I miss you and I am soooo happy you checked back in with us. I have been wanting to e-mail you but again, we are the slackers. If you check the Debarkment day ooops thread, you will see, we were the family that over slept the morning we were suppose to be off the ship . So now you are learning the inside scoop about our slow poke actions. Last to pay, last to get our plane tickets and the last cc members to book our activities. Oh Johnna, whom am I suppose to get my extra stateroom with. Whom now is going to plan all of the activities I assigned earlier . Whom was doing the two night overnight PJ party for ALL the kids in their room.
I see what you are doing Mrs. JS, you are giving us the next date to book while we are on the ship. Can slide it pass me..... We will see what the Minnesotans can do...... Miss You.

Has anyone called Disney directly about the group Palo brunch? I am all for it if you guys want to do it Monday. I did sign up for Sunday already, but maybe they will let me go under the radar and go Monday too. My birthday is Sunday hint hint hint....... Any Actually everyone thought we planned the cruise this week for that reason, but I will be honest, we planned it around what last years spring break was but the school changed it So, I am not that big into it.

How about the group chat, anyone else want to go with that date or choose another date.

We haven't booked our return flights either - thanks to southwest - and we can't fill out those online forms without that info -- frustrating! We're probably not going to go to Palo at all since there is only time on the first day left and we don't want to ditch the kids on the first day. Besides, the food on the regular menus looks 1000 times better than what i've been cooking for a year!

Hi Everyone-
I am sooo tired as I have been up for two nights sewing. Wednesday night finishing DS outfit for the Musical he was in (which went over perfectly ) and last night finishing a blanket with all of the kids' names in my DS class for the teacher. Have I mentioned we are huge last minute people, but somehow always make the deadlines .

I was wondering if we were going to try for the chat night tonight at 8:30 EST or not. I will jump on for a few minutes to see if anyone is there, if not we can schedule it for next Friday or the first Friday in the New Year when everyone is less stressed. We are running out to dinner right now with the thoughts we will be back, in two hours.

I'm here but I'm fading fast ! I worked 10.5 hours today starting at 2:30 am. Then I ran DD to the dentist then we ate at Red Lobster so I'm full, warm and sleepy ! I have to be at work tomorrow @ 4:30am. I loved chatting with Tink and I'd love to chat with everyone. My family are very shy so I'd be more comfortable getting to know you guys better. I already know you guys have great taste !

DCL changed our rooms on us and it is not an up-grade but the same type of room. It is more midship though. We will not complain as we usually go with the flow. If they up-grade us, it does not matter anyway then. Who knows, maybe the WDS will open. If so, party in our room.....

I haven't booked anything but Palo's on ours last night, best time for us. Is that when the Kids graduate from the clubs??? I do not want to miss that.

Hey All,

Sorry to have been gone for a while. Christmas has kept us busy, but with the opening of the presents this morning now behind us, I figure it is time to get focused on the cruise.

That being the case, in response to Michelle's question about what everyone has planned, I started booking excursions and stuff around 10:30 this morning. We are now booked for the Atlantis Submarine at St. Thomas (I begged and begged and DW finally said "Okay, Merry Christmas" the other day) and the Stingray Adventure at Castaway Cay.

Rani, you are so lucky! With all of that crammed into six weeks, that means you get forty-six straight weeks of relaxation each year!

Well, we went to see Alvin and the Chipmunks at the movies and it was very cute. Then we went to a chinese restaurant and waited 50 minutes for burnt food....but tradition is tradition!

Last night I finished sewish my pillow cases for the kids. I was going to use the heat transfers (pirates) that I got at the Disney Store to decorate - but it says they're not permenant -- any clue as to why? So now I think I may take them over to my local embroidery lady and see if she can do anything for me.....

I started a suitcase filled with stuff we don't need now, but will take on the trip....carry cases for the boys to take on excursions, shoe holder for the door, pirate eye patches, etc...fun!

What's the deal with what's available on board medically - have no clue if i need to bring my whole bathroom. Also, saw that people are passing bottled water from one cruise to another -- is bottled water not provide at no charge whenever? Isn't it free? I mean - we can't live on milk and soda! Clue me in folks.....
