Hi- we just booked for this getaway weekend. The snow is picking up in MI and I know I will need a break by Feb! It will be myself and my dd age 9 along for the fun. Just sent a join request to FB as well.

They have no clue we are doing this and plan to pick them up from school early and head out to Port Canaveral without telling them where we are going. I can't wait. We would love to do the FE exchange and get on the list. I'm excited to start gathering gifts just need to know how many

All is good and you have been added to the FB site too. For the FE Exchange, I need to reconfirm your stateroom number as the Disney Magic does not have staterooms on the 10th Deck (you listed #10142 as your cabin above).

Update: Pnutt, it looks like you are on the 2/13/14 cruise on the Disney Dream. I am sorry you will not be joining us, but also wanted you to know that the Disney Dream is a wonderful ship. Enjoy!!

We will be on this cruise as well 2/14/14! This will be our second cruise. The first was on the Wonder in November of 2006. We are a family of four DD 17 and DS 14. Looking forward to it! Only wish it was a longer cruise

This will be our first Disney Cruise! Myself, Amanda and my now fiancé, Shane will be traveling with my DD, Addison who is 6. We are getting married at Cocoa Beach on the morning our cruise departs.
We just booked our cruise this week but if its not too late we would like to participate in the Fish Extenders!

My friend Kathy are I are taking this cruise - I have cruised Disney before (5X) but she has never cruised and I thought a 3 day Disney cruise would be a good first time cruise for her. She has allergies to gluten, soy, dairy and I know that Disney is expert at handling people with food allergies. We are both retired Florida residents and DVC members. We do the parks/resorts all the time but wanted to take this cruise to break up the winter months. Looking forward to meeting everyone. Marie

Hi, Marie. Kathy will probably find a number of eating choices. I am gluten sensitive, and Disney is most accommodating both at the parks and on the sea! My experience has been that they are magical beyond expectations, sometimes even making individual special items without even asking!

Many of the rotational restaurants now label menu options with gluten free, vegetarian, etc. But, once your serving team knows your requests, they are usually great about letting you know what your choices are, or bringing out a chef if necessary.

If you do Palo, they have a separate allergy chef (I think there is one for the buffet and rotationals as well) who can prepare almost anything wanted as long as they have the ingredients.

Oh, and ask someone at the Cabanas buffet to give a tour of what the safe choices are.

How romantic, Amanda. Congratulations to you, Shane, & Addison. I think on your 1st cruise with Disney, you'll be having such a great time, you'll want to do the future onboard booking so you have your next one to look forward to right away. Our first Disney cruise was for Valentine's 2011 on the Dream, so we thought it fitting to reach Platinum Castaway status doing Valentine's again this year. We're super excited! I put in the materials order today, and it is estimated to arrive by next Friday. So, hubby and I will have something fun to put together next weekend!

Our daughter Kadalyn will be 3 in May and our son Garrison will be 15 months the 13th. This is our first cruise! Well, it'll be the first pleasure cruise for my husband as the Navy likes to call it. haha.
I am very nervous and really hoping I enjoy the trip. I'd like to be apart of the FB group. I'm glad I found this website.
Sadly, we won't be able to participate in the FE exchange because I really just learned what that was and we didn't budget for it. It sounds neat though!

We already have a cabana, otherwise we would have taken you up on the offer. For those that have never indulged in one, it is terrific. You can even band together (up to 10 people) to keep the cost down per person.
