63 days till we leave!!!

Your message had me figuring out our "days to go".
With Halloween this weekend followed by Thanksgiving ,
Christmas will be here in no time!! Then Dec. 28th am we fly to
Orlando! 2nights at the Portofino, 2 nights at the Swan , 3 nights
at AKL and 4 nights on the Wonder.

I am a lucky girl!!

Due to unforseen circumstances, we had to cancel out of the 1-4-05 cruise. Sorry we won't be sailing with all of you, we were really looking forward to it.

You didn't confuse me at all, lucky you to be going on such a nice
trip. Your post just made me realize that it was getting close
and so I counted to days to my departure too.

One of these days I will figure out how to use that countdown
clock but it kind of fun this way too. I don't notice how close the
trip is getting till I see a post like yours and then I check my dates
and woo hoo, only 63 days!!!

We haven't decided yet when we are leaving.

We may drive down and would probably leave on Jan 1 or 2. Thinking about booking a couple of nights at the POP Century for before the crusie.

Or we may fly if we get a good deal on flights.

Brunch update-I left a third messgae for Debbie(DCL Reservation Mgr.). Her voice message is that she is still out of town. I will wait to hear from her as I do not want her to think I am this pest that keeps calling her-actually I am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OffToDis; How will you get your docs? I just thought about this last night - we'll be at WDW Dec. 16 - 23 and from what I've read your docs usually arrive about 2 weeks before the cruise. I was worried about what would happen if they come while we're gone. Will they hold them until we get back, have a neighbor sign for them, or what? Does anyone know?

I'm also sorry to miss you, Andy! I was also thinking we might have to cancel as of this past weekend, but right now everything looks okay.

and it just looked so intimidating I never did it.

This is our 4th Disney trip (in 3 years) but my first countdown

have a neighbor get them whichever you think is best for

you keep in mind most people have been getting them

around 30 days out Call DCL and see what they tell you

Dawne577: we're going for 1 night before and 3 nights after. I got the rate for CB for the 1 night, but nothing was available for the 8th - 11th so I had to book POFQ at rack rate (I found out that's the Marathon weekend.) I'm going to keep trying, though. Hopefully someone will cancel.

Good Morning everyone. Happy Wednesday.

I was on DCL website last night and a few more abins opened up. For the price that we paid for cat 5 for the 4 of us I could switch to cat 10 and get two connecting cabins-but they are on deck 1. Not a good choice I hear so we will stay where we are. It would be nice with two connecting cabins if they were on a higher deck.

We are going to Hershey Park this weekend for Halloween. We are meeting up with two other couples and their children. We are leaving Friday and will be back on Monday. We were there 3 years ago during this time when DS was 4.5 months old and DD was 5.5. Now that they are older it sould be so much fun. TTYL-Gail

Hi. When are you going to WL and, if you don't mind me asking what is your 'great rate'? You can PM me if you'd like. I've been checking out rates over the next few months to just get away for a weekend (for my b'day, actually). Thank you.

We got the Wilderness Lodge for $109 a night before taxes. Just booked a standard view room. Plan on driving down from Toledo, Ohio on NYE and are staying at POP for the first two nights(going to the parks those days). First night we have to pay full value season rate and got the second night for only $55. Then day three off to WL. I'm trying to stay at a different resort each time we go so that I can collect all of those refillable mugs - I told my kids that after I spend all of their inheritance on Disney Cruises the mugs will be there legacy.
