It is good that the test results have come back negative. But it is always frustrating when you still don't feel any better.

Hopefully Hazel can get in to see the specialist soon and that the doctor can give her some relief.

FYI - OIA is extremely busy. Please allow for extra time, not only in the airport, but getting out of it. The lines coming in & out were horrendous last week & we're about to leave for there soon (to take my son to fly back to home to NY) & I don't expect much better, since the news reports show it to be extremely busy & his flight is delayed 2+ hrs.

The holidays, mixed with the extreme weather conditions all over the US, have made flight travel a nightmare for some.

I've been reading on the other cruise forum that the Magic has fireworks during Pirates night. I know that's the 7 night cruise, but what do you think our chances are that we'll be treated to a fireworks show?

So glad to hear there are older teens. DS 20 and 14, DD 23 and turning 17 when we come back (so we will celebrate with her on vacation).

It is just a place where us DIS'ers can meet other DIS'ers that are on the same cruise and take a few minutes to say Hi to one another. I've been on two DCL cruises so far and have attended at least one DISmeet on each cruise. You will be surprised how many friendly faces you recognize on the ship after meeting at the DISmeet.

With the trouble that USAir was having this past weekend at the Philadelphia Airport my DW and I decided to change our flights to Spirit Airline and fly out of Atlantic City. While I was home for lunch today I made our new ressies. Instead of flying into Orlando on Monday January 3rd, we are now flying in Friday December 31st!!! We will probably go to my mom's house and stay until Tuesday morning, since she is up here at our house. We got roundtrip airfare on Spirit for $88.00 per person, not a bad deal.

Update on Hazel: The specialist called in a prescription for Hazel around 4pm and we are on our way to pick it up, we "TRUST" this new medication will do the trick and Hazel wll start feeling better real soon!!! We "ARE" going to make this trip one way or another!!!

I got our docs today! They came in the regular mail (Priority) from the TA.

Leighton got a new cast put on today (hot pink) so we're ready to go! LOL At least you'll be able to recognize us.

Fawn, we definitely need to introduce our daughters to each other. It would be nice for them to have a new friend and it sounds like they'd have a lot in common.

The extended forcast for Orlando looks like warm weather, so hopefully we won't have to pack too many clothes...which reminds me - I need to start packing!

I'm getting so excited!!! Can you tell??? LOL Only 7 more days!

Hi everyone. I ALMOST finished packing. I will have a few hours alone tomorrow to finish it all up. I can't believe we are leaving on Wednesday already. I am looking forward to meeting everyone on 1/4/05.
We are off to POL on Wednesday.

That is an awesome rate that you got on Spirit. I am sure you all are looking forward to leaving a few days earlier to the warm weather.

I just made our car rental ressies and cancelled our motel rooms now that we will be staying at my mom's place for those few days before the cruise. We have not even started packing, because we thought we would have all weekend to do that. Now the pressure is on, what to pack???

Caril, once we get settled in at my mom's we'll give you a call and try to set up a meeting with you, DH and DS before the cruise. I trust you are feeling better this evening. Hazel started taking her new meds this evening, the specialist wants Hazel to call him on Wednesday to see if these new meds are helping.

I wish I was smart enough to have packed earlier. It is last minute packing and errans to run today. I will try to post later. We have a 6:30am flight tomorrow. That means 4:30am pick up with a 3 and 7 year old sleepwalking.
