01/04/05 4 Day Magic Roll Call

This is a wonderful day to think about the cruise. We woke up this morning to alot of the white stuff. When I went to bed last night, the forecast was for possibly 2" of snow coming between Sunday night and Monday morning. Now that's been updated to snow all day today, into tomorrow with accumulations of 5-10". My oldest kids have gone to their cousins house for a Lord of the Rings movie marathon, youngest DD is up and playing with her toys from Santa. I plan on doing nothing more than sit on my couch, watch football and eat leftovers. Oh and I still need to figure out what to pack in my suitcase for clothes.

Hi all and hope everyone had a great Christmas!

You all may of heard about us on the news, for the first time ever we had a
white Christmas. It never snows here in Corpus Christi, DD age 7 had never seen snow befor and we had 6 inches Christmas eve and Christmas morning.
What a beautiful site, I told DD "you will remember this Christmas your whole
life" Its my first White Christmas too and I am 45 years old. There is still
snow today, but its melting fast!! But we had snow ball fights, made snow angels and snow ice cream. It was so beautiful, snow all over the palm trees, unbelievable!

I hope everyone had a magical holiday too and now I must start packing. See
you all in about a week!

Wintermom

Wintermom-That is so neat about all the snow you all got.

We are expecting a little snow tonight into tomorrow-not unusual for Long Island, NY.

DH was so kind to take DD and DS to Chuckie Cheese and the movies to see Fat Albert. I waited way to long to pack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I started this morning. I just have today and tomorrow as Tuesday is a very busy day for DD and I. DD has a doctor's appointment in the am than I promised her we would go get a manicure and pedicure together. DS school has a fun day on this day so he will go to that while I run around with DD.

Just a quick hello as I need to get back to packing. I had to check the boards and take a 5 minute break so I do not get to nuts.

The weather report shows nice weather next week in Orlando-YEAH!!!!!

Andy-I hope Hazel is feeling better each day. Prayers and Pixie dust.

Have a great day everyone.

See you all soon-Gail :boat: :boat: :boat:

Hazel was not feeling up to par this morning, so we didn't make it to church. She is trying to save up her energy for the Family Christmas Gathering this afternoon. I was able to get a few things done around the house I wanted to do today, so now it's time to start getting ready for the party. We only have about an hour's drive to my niece's house.

I saw we might be getting some light snow Sunday night into Monday morning. As long as it stays "light" snow, that's fine with me. No Nor'easters, PLEASE!!! LOL!!!

:cool1: Hello, all and Merry Christmas!
We finally got to tell our kids about our Land/Sea vacation yesterday. We sent them to get the "mail" which was two postcards--one that Andy graciously sent us a few months back from Mickey onboard and the other from a kind lady on another DIS board that sent one from Mickey at the Magic Kingdom. Our oldest DD was like "We got some WDW flyers" I asked her to read it for me--after her second time through it hit her what it was saying and she jumped about 4 feet off the ground! Needless to say, the rest of the day that was all they could talk about! Thank you again, Andy--it really made a GREAT Christmas present for our family. Now, I can finally talk about it out loud and get them to try on some of their clothes so we can pack! They couldn't believe how many other people were in on the secret! See you very soon now! :jumping1: :jumping1:

Traveled to Disney many times but never on the cruise. We'll be there with our 4 kids (23, 20, 17 and 14).

I also packed some long sleeve shirts and long pants for all of us -just in case. I hope we do not have to wear them.

We will be getting snow showers tonight. DS already grew out of his nice pants so I will be making a run to the store tomorrow to get them for him.
A few more days to go to be in sunny weather-Yeah.

Hello all,
Well panic mode is setting in now! I`ll finish packing tomorrow and take all the Christmas Decorations down.
In less than 30 hours we will be on our way :earseek: :cool1:
Andy - I do hope your wife is feeling better.
Gail - I`ll look forward to meeting up with you.
Everyone have a great New Year.
See you on the ship.

Julie.

Hazel and I arrived home about 30 minutes ago from the party. We were only there about two hours and Hazel was starting to feel rather poorly so I brought her home. Just as we get within 5 minutes of our house, it started snowing. Angelina is riding home with my mom and nephew. We called my mom to let her know the snow has started here, they are on their way home now as well. We had a nice time with the family, and the spread was amazing, I'm still full!!!

Keep positive thoughts, wishes and prayers coming in our direction. I'd share more about Hazel's condition, but it's rather personal and I don't think this is the place to explain in detail.

Now that we have all Christmas celebrations over with, I have to start the packing.

We are leaving in the early morning hours of Jan 1 to drive to Florida. So I have 5 days at home still to pack.

Andy, I hope Hazel is feeling better real soon. Maybe the cruise will help . Sending good thoughts her way.

Good Morning all.

HAPPY MONDAY.

We got 6 inches of snow overnight. We were suppose to get an inch or two-snow showers-go figure??? We are so not snow people in our house. DH said mabye we will go to Florida and stay there?? Wishful thinking on his part.

Another day closer. Packing today and I will put the errans off till DH gets home. The children will want to play in the snow today along with our dog. We have a 9 year old yellow lab named Harmony who LOVES the snow.

Anyone traveling today or tomorrow-safe travels.

Andy-I hope Hazel is feeling better today.

Have a great day everyone-TTYL-Gail :boat: :boat: :boat: :boat:

Luckily we only got a light dusting of snow overnight, but boy it is cold outside. Well, I've got to get ready for work :( The good thing it is only a four day work week!!!

Here is the latest: All of the test Hazel had done last week came back negative, the only problem is Hazel doesn't seem any better (she had a very bad night last night). Our family doctor gave us the name of a specialist to contact. Hazel just called his office and we are waiting for a reply. Hopefully, Hazel will be able to get in and see him, either this afternoon or tomorrow. Hazel is getting so frustrated at this point. But, we are thinking positive thoughts!!!
