Yeah, only 28 days til cruising. 21 until WDW! Firsts for us but very excited. Just waiting for documents and then start packing!!! Thank goodness you can take 2 suitcases per person plus carry-on. Definitely checking out using space-saver bags!

Have you ever tried using large zip-loc bags to pack in.

I roll the clothes, put in bag and squeeze out as much air as possible.

You still have a few weeks to try it and see if you like how it works.

Well since I live in Canada I can't help you there. But you could probably just try one of the stores like WalMart, Target, Kmart -- those kinds of places would probably have something like that.

I know there was something in a thread somewhere once about where to get them but can't search right now and I don't remember where they said to get them.

Maybe someone else here can help you with that.

Thanks for the holiday wishes. The childen loved opening their gifts tonight. It was a lot of fun.

C-That is wonderful that you recieved your doc's. IK am looking forward to getting mine.

I am not sure if we are going to do Atlantis as the children might want to stay on the boat??!! We will decide before we leave nd I know with Comfort Suites their cancle date has to be 5 days before.

Hey everyone!
It's official--we will be joining you on this cruise! It's going to be a "girls only" cruise and will include my grandmother, mother, sister (19) and myself (21). We're driving to Orlando on the 1st and will be in WDW on the 2nd and 3rd. We have a verandah room and we're really excited because we've never done a 4-day before. We've been on the Magic for the 7-day cruise though. Has anyone heard anything about how our cruise will be different since we're on the Magic instead of the Wonder? I was just curious of what to expect. We also don't know much about Nassau--any tips of what we should do??

Alyssa, welcome aboard! We're planning a DIS meet open house from 5-6pm in our stateroom #8532. You are more than welcome to stop by and put some faces to the names.

Well, we are off to the airport in about 20 minutes for our surprise trip. The kids still have no idea and I'm about ready to explode from the excitement. DH took the day off today and put the suitcases in the back of the car, so we should be able to hang onto this secret right up until we pull into the airport. DH actually works nearby, so we're going to tell the kids that we need to stop by his office. And I've kept the secret from DH that our oldest daughter will be joining us straight from school on Friday night. She's flying out as soon as her last final exam is completed. I know the weather looks cool, but we're coming from New England so the mid 60's during the day will be perfect for us. The best part is that I'm anticipating our cruise documents will be waiting for us when we get back. How cool is that!

Alyssa - this is our first cruise, so I don't know the answers to your questions, but just wanted to say "Welcome"!

Update: Leighton is adjusting to doing things with one arm and feeling much better - thanks for all the prayers and happy thoughts!

It has been a busy night. Had to straighten everything out with DVC Member Services, get trip insurance, change our return flight, find a rental car (of which I only found a low rate for MCO to Port so far), reconfigure our budget....PHEW!

BTW -- I'll be 17 or 18 weeks pregnant by the time of the cruise...WHAT AM I GOING TO WEAR??????!!!!!!!!

You're right! I DO have a good excuse to eat! LOL I'll have to remember that one...mmmmmmmmmmm, I can taste the delicious food now!

This is my 4th DC and DH's 3rd.
Honeymoon 7-night Eastern in December 2001.
4-night Wonder in January 2003
4-night Wonder in December 2003 (me and my Mom)

We were originally on the September 4 - 11th heavily reduced/altered cruise (hurricane) this past year. We are really bummed we didn't get on the cruise then. We have a vow-renewal 7-nighter planned for October 2006, as well.

We can't get enough of the Disney Cruises!!!

hi everyone, i'm new to this. this will be our second disney cruise. we last were on it on 9-28-03 on our honeymoon. we are taking our 4 month daughter. she will love it. we are excited to be going on the magic. if anyone has any info about traveling on this cruise with an infant can you let me know. we are new to this with bringing a baby.
