Happy 101 Sleeps until Disney World!!

So I thought it was about time I post our daily plans. Yeah, it has taken me a while. LoL! I am a bit of talker and picture poster!

We will be staying at AKV-CL from 3/28-4/5/13.

We have travel days on March 27 & March 28th approximate arrival time on 3/28 1pm. We are driving from Indiana. This will be our 4th time driving to Disney World.

I am really hoping we arrive earlier than 1pm and we make good time both of our travel days. March 27 we plan to take the kids out of school early but it depends on finals for both of them, since they are in middle school and high school.

Day 1 of 9 - March 28 - Arrive around 1pm
Check in Club Level and Club level munchies for lunch.

head to Magic Kingdom for the evening.

If I can make FP+ resevations for 8 days I will make them for this day, if not, I am not going to make FP+ reservations for this evening and make it for the other 7 days of our trip.

We have plans to have dinner at The Plaza, it is a favorite of ours and snack around MK, if we are hungry before or after dinner.

I want to close down MK this night and watch Wishes! I like to get late night fireworks out of the way because we end up tired toward the end of the trip. I prefer to drive to MK on the day we attend fireworks, I hate waiting to catch a bus back and it is always crowded on said bus. So I become grumpy. Not a good combo! So the car it is!

Day 2 of 9, March 29.

Breakfast will be Club Level offerings.

We plan to head to AK at rope drop and stay all day until close at 6pm. Lunch will be Flame Tree and Restaurantosaurus.

I have a dinner scheduled at Boma at 7:30pm.

That will give us plenty of time to make it from Animal Kingdom Park back to Animal Kingdom Lodge. We will probably ride the bus here since it is so close.

I thought about going back to our room around 5pm for Club Level offerings before dinner and skipping the last hour of AK but I know that is going to be prime riding time for the Kilimanjaro Safaris and Expedition Everest. So I am not so sure.

Day 3 of 9, March 30, Our 18th Wedding Anniversary.

We have the Sunrise Safari scheduled and paid for, for this date. I read somewhere that this a credit card hold when booking. That is incorrect, you pay for it up front and there is a 48 hour cancellation policy. It was $319.52, for all of us.

We were also sent these instructions:

An invitation will be sent to your room the evening prior with meeting time. Please arrive in the Kilimanjaro Club Lounge 15 minutes before the activity. Breakfast Buffet after the Safari at Pizzafari in Disney's Animal Kingdom. You will be returning by regular Disney Transportation.

Our meeting time is 7am, so we will need to be in the Kilimanjaro Club Lounge at 6:45 pm.

I am SO EXCITED!!! about this Safari!!!

After the safari and if it is warm enough we plan on going back to AKL for a swim, nap, or exploring AKL. Maybe all three!

We have a late anniversary dinner scheduled at Le Cellier this evening. We will probably miss Illuminations but that is ok. We have plans to see it another evening.

Days 4,5,6,7,8,9 to come later! Must work for now!

Happy Sleeps to Disney World!!!

Happy 100 Sleeps to Disney World!!!

On with our Plans:

Day 4 of 9

Monday, March 31st

Breakfast will be club level offerings.

We are headed back to Epcot for a fun filled day!

Plans are Via Napoli for lunch.

The plan is to stay at Epcot until 5pm and then return to AKL to play in the Concierge Lounge before dinner that night at..................

Sanaa!! I have been wanting to try Sanaa for a while but I think my family is not thrilled with my choice. Oh Well! They are going to try it. I promised if the didn't like it they didn't have to eat it and I would take them to The Mara afterward. Sheesh! They need to branch out a bit, hehe!

Day 5 of 9

Tuesday, April 1st

Breakfast Club Level

Park: Hollywood Studios

We plan to be at Hollywood Studios until 7:30 or 8pm when it closes. Lunch will be Backlot Express.

We have a late evening dinner reservation at Beaches & Cream this night!

We were originally not going to the Boardwalk BC/YC area but now we are. I love this area at night or during the day, so it will be nice to return and take it all in.

Day 6 of 9

Wednesday, April 2

You know where we are eating breakfast again!

Today's Park is Magic Kingdom!

We have lunch reservations at The Plaza. One of my favorites.

Dinner reservations at Be Our Guest.

We will be staying here as long as we can, maybe all day from open to close.

We will not be watching Wishes this evening. Instead, we will be riding rides.

Happy 100 Sleeps until Disney World Countdown!!! Tomorrow is exciting! It is the big Double Digit 99 Sleeps!!!

Today is a big day, we are finally in double digits!

~~99 Sleeps!!~~

So exciting but still so far away!

So to complete our plans:

Day 7 of 9

Thursday, April 3, 2014

Breakfast Club Level

Park today is Epcot!

We have lunch reservations at Teppan Edo to celebrate Aaron's graduation from High School. This was his choice and a first for myself, Shawn, and Allison. Aaron took a trip to Disney without us in 2009 and went with his grandma.

Dinner will be Via Napoli

and we plan to watch IllumiNations this evening in our favorite spot!!

Day 8 of 9

Friday, April 4, 2014

Breakfast will be club level

Park is Magic Kingdom!

I would like a lunch reservation for Be Our Guest but the BOG FP website will not give me this day as an option. The plan is to either wait in line or hope that day opens up which is unlikely. So we may end up eating somewhere else.

Dinner is Jiko, to Celebrate our Anniversary ONE MORE TIME! I am looking forward to this one.

Then, we must pack and spend our last evening at AKV-CL.

Day 9 of 9

Saturday, April 5

Today is our last day.

We will not be going to a park, instead we will be packing up the car to return home.

We always have a good-bye breakfast it is usually BOMA! So we will be eating our last breakfast at Boma. Checking out and hitting the road.

So what do you think about my plans?

I feel I have planned the perfect vacation for us this trip. My husband laughed at me when I said this about a week ago. I am very proud of myself!

We shall see how FP+ works into our schedule. We plan to use it for the afternoon and evening and make rope drop for everything else.

:thumbsup2

Woohoo! Congratulations on double digits!

With regards to your plans for lunch at Be Our Guest, it is my understanding that you can schedule a FP+ for lunch at the 60 mark. That's what we are planning to do....I really want to eat there! ::yes::

Thank You, Alan :)

So, I have been thinking about our BOG lunch FP.

When I log on to the bog lunch FP site here:

https://beourguestlunch.disney.go.com/

It doesn't give me the option of my last day Friday 4/4/14, to book a fp for lunch. I am going to assume I will not have the option to do so. I have been reading the reason for this is because the website only allows the first 7 days of your stay. I have a total of 9 days.

So I decided to post what it looks like after I log on.

The first picture in the top left hand corner is the login page.

The next picture is the next screen after you login. It has the option to Select or Replace, View, Modify Meal Selection, or to Cancel your confirmed fast pass+ arrival window.

I chose select or replace because that is my only option since my window is not open for a BOG FP.

The next page will be your party, this is the photo on the top right hand corner.

The middle two photos is the option of days, it gives me to select.

As you can see it only gives me 3/28 through 4/3, not beyond.

I want 4/4, so no BOG Lunch fp for us, I refuse to change my plans to switch things around call it being stubborn. I could try for our first day 3/28 but I am not sure if we will arrive on time, so I don't want to take an FP someone else can use. Our next day at MK is on 4/2 but we already have BOG for dinner so I don't want to schedule one on that day because I don't want to give up my BOG dinner ressie or eat there twice in a day. My next great option would be our next planned MK day 4/4 that one is wide OPEN!!! but it will not give me it as an option.

The bottom left photo is if I select 3/28 as an option and move to the next photo. Of course, my fp window is not open so there are none available.

I have also been reading that BOG lunch FP is opening for booking around the 19th-20th of the month before you want to book. So for instance, you want a BoG lunch FP for January those just opened yesterday or today, I believe.

Here is the thread:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3149450&page=128

I have been stalking for answers to many of my questions! I am just like that. I can't control my need for information when I am interested in something.

So this is my BOG Lunch FP dilema! It won't let me have the option of the day I want!!!

Excellent!!!

97 Sleeps To Disney World!!!

I really want to see Saving Mr. Banks. It looks like an excellent movie.

Has anyone seen it yet, if so, what did you think of it?

Congratulations! We are almost at 30 days to make fast pass selections. Still hoping for mine train fps.

Awesome! I want a ticker like that! Where and how do you get one?

Distickers.com - I made it from a vacation countdown ticker.

I haven't seen it yet, but I did see "Frozen" this week. GREAT Disney movie!

I agree, we loved Frozen.

95 sleeps would have been Sunday, 12/22/2013.

We had my mom over for Dinner and to exchange Christmas Presents. We had Potato Soup with bacon, cheese, and sour dough bread. It was really good. For dessert, we had sugar cookies.

It was nice to see my mom. I don't get the chance to visit with her often. She is a busy lady and we are a busy family. She is also a bit out there but like I often say, that is for another message board!

We also made extra sugar cookies for my home daycare.

I started to feel a little sick this day.

94 Sleeps until Disney World, was on Monday, 12/23/2013.

I had my Daycare Christmas Party on this day. I was still not feeling well from the virus. So I wasn't doing to well this day but no time off for the home daycare provider plus I wanted to give my daycare kiddos a great Christmas party.

We had pizza and bread sticks for lunch. We played board games and watched Christmas cartoons, we made ornaments for the parents and colored christmas coloring pages. I had a gift for each child and for snack we had decorate your own sugar cookies. There were sprinkles flying everywhere!

93 Sleeps until Disney World was Christmas Eve Tuesday, 12/24/13.

I ended up having they day off work because all the kiddos were at home with their parents. Free Day!!!

I went to Starbucks, grabbed my family breakfast, and ran a few errands.

I made deviled eggs for Christmas Day and took a nap. I still wasn't feeling well from my virus.

That evening, my loving husband, made fudge, buckeyes, and Chocolate Chip cookies for Santa.

92 Sleeps until Disney World was Christmas Day, Wednesday, 12/25/13.

We had bacon, scrambled eggs and breakfast sausage. The kids opened their presents.

We then watched The Disney Christmas Parade, which we really enjoyed. We also enjoyed Neil Patrick Harris as the host.

Dinner was Ham, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Green Beans, Green Bean Casserole, Cheese Potatoes, and Rolls.

We had the fudge, buckeyes, and cookies for dessert.

We watched several movies: A Christmas Story, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, The Santa Clause, The Santa Clause 2, and The Santa Claus 3.

I wanted to take a nap but never got around to it, the good news is my virus was gone the bad news my husband caught it!

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! I know we did!!!

:santa:

So today, I was reading several threads where Magic Bands are being painted and jeweled!

I am gonna do it!

I changed my MB to pink, so now my daughter and I have the same color but I have plans for Sparkles!

Nail Polish! and Gems! Super Glue!

princess:

We will have princess MB!!!

91 Sleeps until Disney World!! Happy Day!
