See the Stunning Christmas Tree & More Holiday Decor at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge!


When we were at the resort this morning, Cast Members were setting up for the gingerbread display.

They said they’re hoping to have it open later today!



There are some smaller trees around the lobby as well!

They continue with the theming of the resort.

And, don’t miss the wreaths in the lobby…

…and the garland! We’re also loving these reindeer above the doors.

The huge fireplace in here also features a wreath above it.

And, there is garland on the little bridge that runs over the creek in the lobby!

When we were at the resort this morning, Cast Members were setting up for the gingerbread display.

They said they’re hoping to have it open later today!

We also walked over to the Boulder Ridge Villas at Wilderness Lodge, which is part of the Disney Vacation Club at the resort.

There is garland up throughout the outside walkways!

And, inside the lobby, we found another Christmas tree!

It’s got that same rustic theming.

And, there is garland up on the railings.

It’s so cozy in here!

We confirmed with Cast Members at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge that there will be no display, only the treats table, which will open at 2 p.m. daily. There will be a Wilderness Lodge gingerbread pin and ornament.

The resort is also included on the generic gingerbread merchandise representing all the display locations.

The Disney Parks Blog post has also been updated to no longer list Wilderness Lodge as having a display. Instead, it states, “Additionally, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will have a market table in the lobby with holiday treats available for purchase.”

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Debuts Small Chocolate Cabin Instead of Life-Size House​

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge has opened their holiday market table with a small chocolate and gingerbread cabin instead of a life-size display.



Though Disney Parks Blog initially announced Disney’s Wilderness Lodge would have a gingerbread display, they later changed their post to state, “Additionally, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will have a market table in the lobby with holiday treats available for purchase.” With the table’s opening on Friday, November 21, the resort did display a holiday creation — a small cabin made of chocolate and gingerbread instead of the large display we expected.



The confection is inspired by Wilderness Lodge with a green roof and a pair of tall chimneys. Disney, U.S.A., and Florida flags are on top of the roof.



Santa Mickey and Mrs. Claus Minnie are in a sleigh figurine perched on the rooftop.


A tiny Christmas tree glows from within, just like the towering tree in the real lobby. There are other small trees glowing in the windows and wreaths on the outer walls. Faux icicles line the edge of the roof.


A bear figure is at one corner. There are Christmas trees to the sides. Mushrooms grow on a log alongside a white rabbit.



At the opposite corner is the lodge’s iconic totem featuring Mickey, Goofy, Donald, and Humphrey. Another log features a pair of chocolate squirrels.


Disney’s Wilderness Lodge did have a life-size gingerbread log cabin featuring Humphrey the Bear back in 2019.



The counter with the display as well as treats and merchandise for sale is at the back of the Wilderness Lodge lobby.

This year, the resort has introduced Rice the River Hog.

Disney’s All-Star Resorts Decorated for Christmas​

All three of Disney’s All-Star Resorts are now decorated for the Christmas season. Slight changes have been made from previous years, making the All-Star Resorts a great place to check out even more Walt Disney World holiday decor.

All-Star Sports Resort ​

The resort’s green wreaths are topped with golden stars and full of blue, gold, and silver baubles. There are also things like small soccer balls and basketballs tucked into the wreaths. There is a wreath on wither side of the entrance.


Each All-Star lobby features a Christmas tree that has special decor unique to that resort’s theming. At All-Star Sports, the Christmas tree is littered with sports-themed ornaments, including basketballs, baseballs, soccer balls, tennis balls, and more.



In the lobby, star-shaped and sports-themed wreaths hang above the seating area and counters, covering some of the white stars on the walls.


More wreaths line the walls in the pathway leading to the rest of the resort. Some of the wreaths feature full-size sporting equipment like a volleyball and net, a tennis racket, a Louisville Slugger, and more.

All-Star Music Resort ​

Hanging on both the front windows are wreaths topped with a classic red bows with golden stars. They are full of gold, red, and blue ornaments including baubles, stars, and music symbols.



A large Christmas tree features many of the same music-themed ornaments, as well as parts of instruments. This year, the tree has several large ornaments, including a guitar and piano keys.


In the lobby, star-shaped wreaths with red and gold bows hang over some of the white stars on the walls. Music and instrument baubles have been added to each.


The circular wreaths inside each feature a different instrument. A small guitar split into two different styles is on one wreath. Others have nods to a candy-cane-striped saxophone and different colored guitars and horns.

All-Star Movies Resort​

The wreaths at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort are decorated with film strips and silver reel cases, as well as red carpet-inspired “ribbon.”


Just inside, there a Christmas tree decked out in film strips, silver reel cases, movie tickets, and a large clapper board.


The star-shaped wreaths and tree are illuminated with yellow lights. The star wreaths have film strip-patterned bows, red and gold stars, and round baubles.


Circular wreaths around the corner are also illuminated with warm, golden lights. Each is decorated with an array of film-industry inspired details that align with other decor around the resort.
