Back to the itinerary questions, I am thinking of switching our days so we can enter our MNSSHP day early to get in line for J & S around 3. ANd then switch off with DH on getting our wristbands at 4. I was also going to have DH take the kids through the bypass for pics and their first treats after while I hold our spot. Does this sound doable? This DVC early entry has me not knowing what to do.

I cannot say with the utmost certainty if this is doable. I'm unsure what time CM's will start roping off the area. You can try to hang out over there if you want but please note CM's can and have asked to see your party wristband prior to getting into the line. And if you don't have it they can ask you to leave.
