Before I get to responses I've decided to throw out some give away points... I just finished going through Little Miss's wardrobe so I can prep for the consignment season coming up and I have determined that it would appear that Little Miss still fits in ALL of her outfits from the trip back in may! (I am really not going to look a gift horse in the mouth on that one!) That means it's now time to play the Help me decide what to pack for March game! 3 nights 4 days + back ups. (8 outfits total) Go back through the tr and quote your favorite outfits. 4pts for every outfit recomendation (Max Total of: 32pts) No you can't get points for saying "all of them"

Little Miss dancing is so adorable! Is she always such a happy kid?

90% of the time yes! But when that kid decides to get unhappy... whew boy!!! She makes sure all are aware!

I was going to guess the Swiss Family Treehouse, but you stated that it was a ride, so I'll go with the Liberty Square Riverboat.

How do you seriously not just squeeze that little one like crazy. She is just so cute. I just want to reach through the monitor and squeeze her!

She is a true joy really!

She had herself a little audience! Looks like her partner was keeping time with her too!

I wasn't gonna guess for the game since I haven't yet and would be impossible to catch up but... then you mentioned bonus points... so I wonder how far I could get if I come in at the end and win bonus points...so what the heck...I say...

After the parade Finished we all were just very hot and in need of sometime in the cool dark a/c.

So you popped in to see Mickey and Tink!

did our secret in park break trick of taking one spin on Carousel of Progress and two on Peoplemover.

Dang.

Carousel of Progress in combo with getting your feet up and resting in the breeze of the Peoplemover just does wonders for you.

There ended up being a Monster’s Inc Laugh Floor available for right away so we booked it and then hopped in the theater

What did Little Miss think of it?

We of coarse had to get a Sweet Cream Cheese Filled Pretzel to share.

I still have yet to try one of these... And I so want to!

This while I did win it was so obviously a pity win by DH that I don’t really count it as a victory.

You guys look like you're having a blast!

Little Miss even found a friend to dance with and the cuteness had everyone around awing at the adorableness!

What classic often overlooked attraction (and pretty sure it was a first for us all) do we end up choosing for our very last ride of the trip? (Hint, not in Fantasyland or Tomorrowland)

I know you don't "ride" it, but I'm going to stick with Treehouse.

And I'm in hour 15 of my 16 hour shift...
Way too tired to go back to look at outfits today.
Maybe tomorrow... when I'm on my next 16 hour shift.

That's awesome that you can reuse her clothes from last trip! Gosh, she had so many adorable outfits. My favorites were the polka dot Minnie dress with leggings, the Elsa shirt with blue shorts, the grey Minnie t-shirt with pink shorts, the giraffe shirt with animal print shorts she wore at AK, the multiple Minnies shirt with black skirt, the striped Minnie shirt with pink skirt, the blue Olaf shirt with white shorts and my absolute favorite was the Jessie shirt and denim skirt she wore to Hoop do doo Revue.

It's sounds like you had an awesome last day. I'm sad we missed the meet up though it sounds like with my cranky boys sitting in that hot sun would not have been good for us. I love the dance party picture, she looks like she's having so much fun.

I like your idea for a break. I always enjoy the classics like COP, but it is a great place to get off your feet for quite a while and enjoy the A/C. And then a couple of rounds on Peoplemover... yeah, that definitely works well.

The Dance Party looked like so much fun! Little Miss was definitely having a good time on the dance floor Adorable! I love it how kids can make instant friendships so easily.... the simplicity of youth!

There are 2 or 3 things that have become too small but for the most part everything still fits! I'll probably get a few things in the next size up just in case of random growth spurt

'm debating about giving the buses another chance while we're down there.

While we had one bus issue it was due to traffic not the bus showing up... Overall I give the POP an A for bus service if that makes you feel any better about giving them a try!

It does actually! Little Miss has become OBSESSED with Disney buses and would be very disappointed if we didn't ride in them at least a few times while there.

Riverboats and Pirate Ships (5/14/15 Part 7 )



After our Dance party we headed across the park with the potential idea to get Columbia Harbor house for dinner only we got distracted when we saw that the Liberty Bell was still running. It was something on our Disney Bucket list and we decided to go ahead and do it. It was a fun little ride though can’t say I’d be inclined to make it a must do on every trip.

Afterwards it was about time for our Pirates FP and off we went in that direction. It wasn’t too long before we were sailing with the pirates.

I agree with you regarding the Liberty Bell. Not a must do, but enjoyable. The last time I rode it, all the benches were filled, so we had to stand. That kind of defeated our purpose of a relaxing break.

I'll guess that you went to visit Mickey one last time and had dinner at Riverside Mill.

For me the smell from the engine wasn't very pleasant, but I am not sure if that was prego nose or a normal thing. DH and Little MIss weren't bothered.

Meandering our way out…. (5/14/15 Part 8)



As we finished up in the gift shop at the exit to Pirates DH and I went back and forth on what we wanted to do about our dinner and for the rest of our evening. As much as we were enjoying ourselves in the park, I was sunburnt with multiple huge blisters getting worse on my feet and we were hot, tired, and needed to pack for our dreaded departure day in the morning.


It was decided that we would go ahead and head out of the park and get some dinner at the resort.


On our way out we stopped at a few popcorn carts to ask about the Cinderella Carriage Popcorn buckets. (No one had any. We should have started the search at the beginning of the trip. Anybody know if we'll have luck in March? ) We also stopped to get Little Miss a balloon since she had been admiring them the whole trip.

We also made a stop in the Confectionary to look around and pick up a thing or two.

And last we stopped at the hat shop to look at potential gifts for a graduating family member back home. Of course you can’t go in without trying on at least a few hats right?

With one last look and a few last pictures we walked out of Magic Kingdom for the last time on this amazingly magical trip and I did my best to try not to cry. (Pretty sure I teared up anyways.)

We made our way back to the resort and on the way found that the nearest ADR for Boatwrights would put us eating too late and so we decided to try the lounge and catch Yeehaw Bob preforming.

Unfortunately after we ordered we were told that Yeehaw Bob was on vacation so it would be someone else playing. He turned out good. We ordered up almost one of everything on small heavy appetizer menu and had a pleasant evening. My favorite of what we ordered and ended up ordering a second of was the Pimento cheese fritters. Mmmmmm I really need to find a place near me that can make them. They are soooooo good!!! * Pro tip we discovered…. They are completely fine with you bringing food from the food court into the lounge to eat. We ended up doing that for Little Miss.


After our meal we made our way back to our room to pack up and get things ready to leave in the morning.
