We were in the same FP spot for the Xmas parade! I loved it for its closeness to the gate but I was sad we couldn't enjoy the parade with the castle in the background from our angle. But it was so nice to have space and not have anyone try to shove in front of us. We went on a cloudy December day so we were comfortable, but I can't imagine being in that spot during the late spring or summer!

I've yet to see the Festival of Fantasy Parade. You got some great pics and Little Miss's enthusiasm is such a delight!

Considering you were up front, I'll guess you left the park for a break.

So what were our thoughts? We just simply loved it!

It's a great parade, isn't it?

Little Miss’s face just lighted up with every character that passed

Awww!

The only thing that I feel is a down side to it is that I don’t feel they transitioned the songs very well at all and the between float stuff just comes off as somewhat chaotic.

Interesting. I never noticed that.
Too immersed in the visual to notice the auditory.

What do we do next?

Well, you're close so... visit Mickey and Tink.

I seemed to have missed alot, but happy your feeling better and the house is looking good!

I love the story about how the trip title came up, and I love all your pictures. Little miss seems to love all the character and is just loving the trip!

I think the bus thing is really annoying, for me this makes getting resorts that only have 1 stop are better, but i guess then they usually share with other resorts so that could still be annoying.

I really like your parade pics and tips about the FP+ for this. As someone who rarely takes the time to even watch a parade...your pics made me maybe want to rethink that next time...whenever that may be. Little Miss' face was so precious and I guess that's what it's all about, right?

I do not like Parades but I LOVE that one. I probably take over 200 pictures almost every time I watch it. The last time I watched it I actually put my camera away and just enjoyed being in the moment.

I would normally say it's time for a break, but since everyone else has guessed that, I am going to go against the flow...you go get some ice cream at the ice cream shop (it is hot outside!) and rest in the shade a bit. Then you head to Enchanted Tales with Belle since you are still in the costume!

You definitely got some good pictures. Especially for just using your phone. Mine rarely seem to turn out so well.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I never even saw the Town Square area during the parades. How crowded is the FP area there? Plenty of room?

Little Miss is what made watching it fun. I'm not sure DH and I alone would have gotten much out of it.

We have Samsung Galaxy Notes. However the real trick is just a Steady hand and taking LOTS of shots. GOod lighting helps too. Before the trip I found a lot of really good articles on pintrest to help make phone pictures better.

Not terrible. In some of the early shots of the parade you can see it at its fullest.

Our Secret to an In Park break at Magic Kingdom (5/14/15 Part 6)




After the parade Finished we all were just very hot and in need of sometime in the cool dark a/c. We cut through the stores as far as we could and did our secret in park break trick of taking one spin on Carousel of Progress and two on Peoplemover. It’s amazing what hitting these up back to back does for rejuvenation. The cool dark a/c on Carousel of Progress in combo with getting your feet up and resting in the breeze of the Peoplemover just does wonders for you.


After that we hit up a FP spot to see if there was anything available. There ended up being a Monster’s Inc Laugh Floor available for right away so we booked it and then hopped in the theater. (Though I have to say that it didn’t seem to gain us anything.) After that we stopped right outside the exit at another FP+ booking spot and booked a 5th FP for Buzz. We had about a 15 minute wait till it became available so what better time to stop for a snack?

We of coarse had to get a Sweet Cream Cheese Filled Pretzel to share. These babies are GOOD! We will defiantly get this in the future.


After our snack it was time to go take another spin on Buzz Lightyear. This while I did win it was so obviously a pity win by DH that I don’t really count it as a victory.

After we got out of Buzz we stopped to get a 6th FP this time for somewhere outside of Tomorrowland. We headed over towards our stroller but stopped along the way at the Dance Party. This ended up being BIG fun and we hung around for a little bit. Little Miss even found a friend to dance with and the cuteness had everyone around awing at the adorableness!
