“Below Deck” fans, a Kate Chastain question

I love Kate, and just recently learned she wrote a book. Have you read it? It’s called Lucky Charming. So was wondering, it claims it’s fiction, but her writing style feels like it’s her path that she followed since becoming a yachtie. Does anyone know if this is what really happened since the beginning of her career? I’m enjoying it so far. Capt Lee’s book comes out in a couple of weeks!

It's supposed to be a travelogue of sorts so I would assume it's semi-truths with embellishments for humor. So is it good? I am a fan of Below Deck and I do like Kate.

If you like Kate, you’ll like this. She cracks me up and you definitely experience her humor here. I’m still at the beginning of the book, should be fun.
