»»June 16, 2012 Father's Day Cruise on the Fantasy!««

Good choice. I think it will be a great room with great view. It will be here before we know it though.:rotfl2:

I don't think I'm quite ready to set a countdown and see exactly how many days are left!!!

That's exactly my sentiment. Sitting here freezing and watching snow all around, knowing we won't be going back for over a year now. But at least most of you are in the same boat, patiently waiting it out like myself. Misery loves company right?

In the same boat - lol :rotfl2:

Hi!!:wave2: This is funny. I kept going back and forth trying to decide between 7690 and the room we have which is 6190. When I saw you took 7690 and said, "Well, I guess I'm set on 6190!":thumbsup2 You can wave down and across to us! We also have a DD (Anna Marie) who will be 11 and she's hoping to find some friends on this cruise. She has never been on a cruise before. DH and I cruised on RCCL 13 years ago and we're really excited about DCL and the Fantasy. We're also booked on the Dream this July. Can't wait!:cool1:

I was torn between 7690 & 9174 (which I see is still available.) 7690 was a little cheaper and I didn't think that 9174 would be all that much better. So 7690 it was. It is entirely possible that I will change my mind before we sail and decide I need to be mid-ship...if I do, you'll be the first to know!

Can I join?

We are going to be taking our first ever cruise! We are so excited, yet it is kind of overwhelming. So much to learn.

We haven't booked yet, will be soon though. Still trying to figure out what area of the ship is good and such.

It would be me and my DH, along with our son, who will be 12 at the time of the cruise.

We are just celebrating finally experiencing not just a cruise but a Disney Cruise! Can't wait :)

Welcome - first Disney cruise for us as well!

We're booked! Hi to everyone! It is me, Cindy, my DH, Mike and DD's Katie (16) and Edie (12).
We've haven't cruised on Disney since Jan 09, so I am so psyched for this cruise!

And welcome to you too!!!!!

:welcome: I think that our group of kids will be taking over Edge! :rotfl2:

I can't believe all the tweens just in our "group." My kids are really thrilled and hopefully DD will make enough friends that she will give DS a break (she likes to give him grief now and then.) DS will only be a week from turning 14 so I could put him in Vibe, but he has mild Asperger's and I think he'll fit in better with the tweens - but we will see.

I totally understand. In Aug., we were on the Wonder for a 5 night double dip and re-booked for a 7 nighter in Oct on the Magic. When we booked it onboard, we got $200 OBC, and named our TA, giving us another $200. Well, not 2 days later, DH & I decided we just couldn't wait that long to cruise again, so we found a "bargain" 5 night double dip on the Magic (that was Jan 3-8). I was so upset that we didn't have a dummy cruise that we booked to move up, missing out on the 10% off and OBC. I didn't want to move up the Oct date, because we booked "our" secret verandah cabin, and didn't want to lose it. We only got the $75 from our TA, $50 from Disney Visa, and $25 from the TA booking online. Had we booked a dummy cruise, we would've had another $100. Kicking myself!!!! Well, once we boarded & still had cell service at PC, DH checked with his iPhone to see if 9674 was available for this sailing. It was, so we picked up the re-booking cards and filled them out right after dinner to book this cruise, and a dummy date, because I wasn't letting that happen to me again!!! Wanna know the best part, I get a call from the booking agent that we won the $100 OBC for re-booking another cruise while on board!!! That was awesome!!!

Moral of the story - I completely understand!!!

Well done. :thumbsup2

I'm so glad I'm not the only one. We own DVC and I could have used points to book. But I can rent or transfer enough points to pay for this and my net "savings" combined with all the OBC is somewhere in the neighborhood of $1500 - I just couldn't resist. That's our airfare & tips at least.

Thanks Quirty! I've seen a pic of one of the 6B balconies (6690 which will be exactly like ours) and I really like it, but wondering about the double railings. Hope our DD's can meet up!

Welcome aboard..what part of WV are you from??

We're in the north central part of the state. (Mountaineer country!:thumbsup2 Sorry, cause I see you're a Marshall fan. Congrats on the recent basketball win.) Close to Elkins. We've been snowed in the past 3 days with many power outages. Looking forward to the warm Caribbean!

I found the DISboard before our 2009 Disney cruise but it wasn't very active. Looks like this group is going to be a fun crowd :cool1:

We would like to join the FE group also. Any good ideas for FE gifts? How offer do folks delivery?

Looking forward to chatting with all of you over the next 17 months! :woohoo:

Welcome. I will update the FE list in the morning. As for FE delivery we pick our Sea day and go for a walk around to see everyones doors and pass out our gifts. There is no right or wrong way as long as you have fun.

We delivered a few gifts each of the first few days so that everyone did not receive all their FE gifts at once. It was a lot of fun.
