»»June 16, 2012 Father's Day Cruise on the Fantasy!««

Welcome. I will update the FE list in the morning. As for FE delivery we pick our Sea day and go for a walk around to see everyones doors and pass out our gifts. There is no right or wrong way as long as you have fun.

Thanks! I'm sure it will be a great time.

Still trying to read all the posts but I did get a chance to see the logos .... Nice Work!:thumbsup2

so far I'm counting SIX 11 year old girls and SIX 11&12 year old boys just from this group. WOW~!

Rita will turn 12 on the very day this cruise starts.... but she's a little 12 (unless somehow in the next year she springs up- highly unlikely.... she's always been little for her age LOL)
(OmG I can't believe my BABYYYYY will be 12- ever. wahhhh)

And did I not post or PM my info for this cruise? I could have sworn I did but if I didn't-please let me know :)

They grow up way too fast, don't they?!!

The FE List has been updated. Please take a look and PM me with any corrections. If you are not on the list and would like to be added please PM me your information.

Glad to here there's another little 12yr old. My daughter has always been small for her age also and I'm pretty sure she's not going to be very tall either. :)
She is soo excited there is a lot of girls her age!! Will be a a lot of fun!!:yay:

Welcome to our ever growing group. Glad to have some more people join.

I think we're going to have to cut this cruise off soon....I'll have to bring a separate trunk just for the FE gifts lol :rotfl2:

On our last cruise, we had 63 families participating in FE. We needed to bring a separate bin just to pack the gifts. I don't think there ever was a time when we came back to the room where we did not have a gift. We wound up delivering our gifts over a few days.

But did you wind up breaking the 63 groups into smaller #'s? Not sure I could handle 63--- even cheap cost wise...

I already started making mine and personalizing, so would splitting be based on location, when each family signed up? New to all of this...

Holy Moly! 63!!:scared1: Well if we end up with 63 then whatever we bring will be small LOL so 1 it will all fit in luggage and 2 so it does not break me up LOL:rotfl2:

On our cruise we had that many and split it. We cut off the 1st sign up at around 30 or so and then started a 2nd FE. I think we should do that on this cruise too. I can't afford that much!:scared1:

Ok, so I know this shows I'm a cruise newbie, but is there a short explanation of Fish Extenders or a link to explain it? :confused3 Thanks

The Panama Canal cruise had 95 staterooms and they didn't split, and, they also did Secret Mickey!!! On our last cruise, we had a large group, but it was still managable - between 30-40 staterooms. I would prefer to give to everyone, so I think if it gets too big for some people, I suggest that we have 2 groups - something like:

Group A - exchanges with each other only
Group B - exchanges with each other and also delivers to Group A

We live in Tampa and space is a non-issue for us - I personally don't want to leave anyone out. Honestly, I fully expect that there will be a large group being that this is a summer cruise. Just a suggestion :goodvibes

Now what is a Secret Mickey? That is a new term on me:confused3

It's basically like a Secret Santa - each cabin is randomly assigned one cabin to give a nicer gift to. Say for example we had you, in addition to your regular FE goodies, maybe we would get you a Disney ornament -- something along those lines. I think it's still suppose to be something like $10 or under, but something a little nicer than a regular FE goodie.

That is a cool idea...I like that...when do you reveal who your SM is?

With your gift. Say Ssanders79 is in charge of it since he has the FE info. He would randomly assign a SM to everyone -- PM you with who you get to deliver to. You get the gift, deliver it, and it says who it's from on the gift tag. I have heard that some people have the stateroom attendant put their SM gifts in the room (especially if it's something that can't go into an FE). I have heard that a lot of people even wrap them like a gift, with wrapping paper and everything. I read a trip report that one family received a Lenox ornament for each member in their family! (I saw the orrnaments for $3.99 at Marshalls, so albeit a nice gift, they didn't spend a fortune).
