Now we're talking!! I'm sure we will have an adult beverage in hand very early on.

Darcy is the FE coordinator. I will also be purchasing my FE stuff, I have half of it already - I'm not THAT crafty and to be honest it's going to be all about the packing space for me, although I'm already tempted to ship a box just so I don't have to hassle with finding the space....and I'm only half done AND if we get more than another 4 rooms sign up I'll have to replan the plan! No wonder my DH just looks at me and shakes his head.

I "think" this was the last number that Darcy posted and so if Jeff (+ DW + 2 DD's if I remember right) does participate, you'd have to add those in.

# of Adults 36
Total # of People 62

If you decide that you are interested in participating in the FE, I am coordinating the list. After you have posted 10 posts (your counter is under your name on the far left) you can send a Private message (PM) to me with the following information:

Last Name

Names of people in party (plus DH, DW, etc)

Celebrating anything?

Once we are all set with the list, I will email it out to everyone so you have a list and know where to deliver your gifts.

I have done a search on these boards and also on the www, but I know that several of you are cruise veterans for western caribbean so figured I would just ask here.

Looking at the 3 snorkel Captain Marvin's shore excursion for GC, check in time is 9:15 am for a 10:00 am departure. Any problems with that early of a check in time? I see others say they made a 10 am trip no problem, but I'm not sure if the 10 am is check in, or if they are talking about a 10 am departure.

Also - I found a link to the Grand Cayman port and according to their schedule there are 5 cruise ships there the day we are there! Wow!!

Darcy - I figured you would pop in and get us up todate on the FE totals, but I had time on my hands, and it got me over 100 posts.

I am all about adult beverages and group shots!!! How many more days until we sail??? I just spent the last hour quizing dd on anticedants and spelling/vocabulary words I so sad that summer is over!!

We still need to book our excursions but think that we'll do key west on our own, the city tour and sting ray excursion on GC and not sure about Cozumel. I would like to do a beach all inclusive - DH would like to do zip lining with the kids. I'm not so sure about the safety of that - I'm naturally nervous about suspending my kids (oh -and DH too )high in the air at high speed

I'm looking forward to the long weekend - the first full week of school and sports has done me in!!!

Gailyn - My DS and I wanted to zip line, but unfortunately he isn't old enough. If you are looking at the one at Adventure Park in Cozumel, check out trip advisor....it's not a zip line over a canopy of trees, it is more from tower to tower across an open area.

Very happy that we have passed PIF date, now just have to pay that off the credit card. LOL. Thank God for the 6 months free financing!

My kids started school yesterday, so we are back into the swing of things. However, why we started on a Thursday before the long weekend is beyond me. Last year we started 2 weeks before Labor Day and this year 2 days...other years we start the Tuesday before, which makes more sense to me. Get 4 days in to start off and then a long weekend. This 2 days in and then 3 days off makes no sense to me! Okay...vent over.

We were actually scheduled for May 2011, but there was such a deal for going this week, that not only did we change it, I got my parents to book with us. We are so excited to go. Instead of 258 days, its only 85 days away. WOO-HOO!

Check in is at an office a short walk from the ship. From there you take a van to the pier. That's probably where you get the time differences. We had no problems in Jan 09 as shoretrips uses Capt Marvin. I think Capt Marvin must be 93 or 94?? Heck of a nice guy. When my DS needed to use the restroom he invited us into his home to use his facilities. Quite the customer service!
