ºoº "Epcot's Candlelight Processional 2005 F.A.Q. & Information,let's share our info.

Bumper about Jim Caviezel. I have CP for 12/9 at Chef de France but if someone cancels Le Cellier I may switch restaurants. We are also going 12/12 to see Eartha Kitt.

I have only seen one bad narrator and that was Miss America 2 years ago. All the others were good some a little better than others.

Nancy

I am so glad to see they finally have someone while we are there. We are booked for 12/22 and it is our last night in WDW. I am excited about Jim Caviezal, however I would not have been disappointed with Jaqi Velasquez. Very talented Christian artist. I also would not have been disappointed with Steven Curtis Chapman. Love, love love him

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that!!! That was our 1st CP and we were sorely disappointed! I am *VERY*, extremely, and in all other ways bummed that they moved James Caviezel...I was SO looking forward to his performance. :( I don't care that much for Jaci Velasquez, but nothing can be as bad as Miss America!

Does your credit card get charged as soon as you sign up for the package or do they charge it after you have eaten. I have the dining plan and was wondering about when I should be looking for this on my credit card statement. I apologize if this has been answered already but I have searched through the pages and I cannot find it. Thank you.

Since I changed to the Dining Plan when should I get the credit back?

You should give them a call and find out but my guess would be when you pick your tickets up?

I finally called and got my ressies for the CP on Dec. 17th. Both Le Cellier and Coral Reef were booked for the entire night. We ended up with Rose and Crown at 6:50 and the 5:00 CP.

I just called and cancelled my CP dining package for Dec. 7th. I had a table for 2 at LeCellier at 4:00 with CP show at 8:15.

I am sooo bummed out about not getting to see Jum Caveizel. :sad2: I was so excited about hearing him thell the Christmas story in person. I am with the other poster about why didn't they just stick Valesquez in Lt. Dan's spot. :confused3 Messed up my whole vacation! :headache:

Hi, everyone. I appreciate everyone confirming the changes by calling WDW. I was just waiting for them to make the changes in print on their website whick is still listed on the front page along with the changes and dates so that you can refer to it next year. Here are all the changes that they have made since the list was first posted by WDW on August 4, 2005.

UPDATES:

*ºoº Gary Sinise CANCELLED on August 11, 2005 for - Dec 22-27

ºoº On September 20, 2005 WDW posted two narrator replacements for Gary Sinise, and moved one narrator:

ºoº *Jaci Velasquez on Dec 7-9 replaces Jim Caviezel who is moving to replace three days for Gary Sinise.

ºoº *Jim Caviezel on Dec 22-24 moves and replaces Gary Sinise for three days.

ºoº *John Stamos on Dec 25-27 replaces Gary Sinise for three days.

Sincerely, Ray

I am SO bummed! We had Jim Caviezel! I don't want to see Jaci - we don't know her.

I will call Dining and see if I can switch. Ugh! This stinks! :(

Wow.. so our trip we get to see Uncle Jessie narrating the Christmas story!! lol :rotfl:

Kristi, you should not be upset about seeing Jaci. She is a great Christian artist, the real deal. I would have been thrilled to see her or Uncle Jessie, but we are booked for the 22nd so we get to see Jesus ;) I guess the switch around was due to scheduling conflicts and stuff, I think the 2 guests they added are both great!!!! Listen to some of Jaci's music, you may become a convert! I think knowing that the person really and truly believes the story they are reading adds to the majesty of the evening....JMHO!!!

I understand how people feel about the switch. I was so bummed when Gary Sinise cancelled. But, I'm very excited that I get to see Jim Caviezel.

i'm not trying to be dumb, but..........is the candlelight processional narrator "live and in person" or a taped narration? i only ask because john Stamos is scheduled to be the narrator when we're at WDW and my youngest LOVES him.

It's live and in person :earsboy:

I'm so excited!
I had posted earlier that I was going to try to do both the CP dinner package and the Illuminations cruise on the same night. It seems nobody had tried this before, and I was a little discouraged. Well, it seems it just may work out fine! I booked an early dinner at Teppanyaki (4:30 p.m.), the 6:45 CP, and need to be at the Y&BC Marina by probably around 8:15! An abundance of sensory riches! I'll let you know how it all turns out.

Discounts have made it possible to for us to take an trip to WDW in December. Made reservations for the CP yesterday and had a choice between Eartha Kitt and Lou Diamond Phillips. DD was lobbying hard for Kitt and I complied. We were fortunate to be able to see Gary Sinise 2 years ago and the entire experience was amazing. I loved the music, the choir, the heralds and Gary's performance. I have read a previous post by someone that was not thrilled with Kitt's performance and I wonder if anyone else has any input?
Thanks in advance.
