Date and Day: Dec 8th, Thursday

Restaurant: Chefs de France
ADR Time: 8:30PM

Called right at 7:00 (4:00 my time) and was only on hold about 10 mins. This was the first package my CM sold this season, so it took awhile. I only got one confirmation #, was I supposed to get two?? What did you guys get??

Shelly

Boy you were up bright and early!! Glad you didn't have to wait long.

Only one confirmation #. When you pick up your packet, it will have everything your group needs to dine and attend the show! :goodvibes

Day & Date: Wednesday 12/7
CP Showtime: 8:15
Narrator: Jim C.
Restaurant: LeCellier
ADR: 4:10
# in Party: 2

I was kinda bumbed about the 4:10 dinner time, but seeing that many people couldn't get anything with just 2 people, I guess I'll count my blessings.

Thanks, I thought I read last year that there were two, so I just wanted to check. It was early here, but I think that might be better, I was back in bedby 4:30 and slept two more hours .

Kydisneykid-Are you sure of those times? When I called this morning the CM wouldn't let me do the 6:45 show with a 7:50 ps at Le Cellier. I just called back when I saw your post and even got a manager involved, and they still wouldn't change the showtime without a later PS. I even told them that I'd take the risk of missing the PS (since I'm sure we'd still make it), but they wouldn't budge unless I could make a later PS. Of course everything afterwards is sold out for 2 people.

I guess I don't care if we see the 5:00 show or the 6:45 show, but I'd prefer the 6:45 show since it's darker. I'm just curious why it worked for you, but not us?

Date/Show Time: Thurs Dec 15th, 5:00 Show
Narrator - Lou Diamond Phillips
PS Restaurant - Le Cellier
ADR Time - 7:50
Time called -10:00 (live on West Coast)
Time on hold - 0 minutes
Party size - 2

Day & Time: Friday Dec 9th (our arrival day)
CP Showtime: 6:45pm
Narrator: Jim Caviezel (his last night)
Restaraunt: Alfredo de Roma (our first choice)
ADR Time: 4:30pm
Number of people in party: 2

Called 0655 Floridian time and was on hold until 0720.
I don't know how a 4:30pm ADR is going to work out since that's 3:30pm Texas time and my mom is a very brittle diabetic who MUST eat at certain times because of her insulin. We'll probably have to grab her a snack to eat later or else her blood sugar is going to drop on us.

Just a hypothesis......
Do you think Disney is forcing the super-early dining times on the 8:15 CP-goers and the late times on the 5:00 CP-goers because most people eat dinner around 6:30/7ish, hence they're trying to keep their "busy" time as open as possible for non-CP people? In looking through these posts, almost everyone has an ADR before 5 or after 8. If that's their strategy, it sure doesn't seem fair.

It's amazing that you got in right at the time that reservations were being taken and couldn't get a better time, especially since it was the first PS your CM took. It makes one question what's going on. We haven't purchased the dining plan since they changed the rules....discount card, pin and lanyard, etc. We attend the week following Thanksgiving, every single year, and have never not gotten a seat for the show we wanted to see. We usually see CP every three days so we can hear a different narrator.

If you don't mind my asking...What time did you get through? We asked for a ressie for 2 for the same day and were told there were none. :confused3

Goodeats---- That's the times I got, I guess it depended on the person who was making my reservation for me. She didn't seem to think it would be any problem. I originally wanted a dinner time around 4 or 4:30 but there wern't any avaible at the time I called. My wife and I are both fast walkers so it won't be a problem for us to get there in time. She also told us we would be able to pick up our package inofrmation at our resort.

I just called back and the angel of a CM :cloud9: was nice enough to find our party of two a spot at Le Cellier on 12/7! She did say that there were no spots available for a table of two. Then she said do you mind to sit at a four top? Of course not! I made sure to ask that we only needed to pay for two right? Certainly, only two diners at a four top table, not a problem, we'll get you in. She was a peach! :love2:

Here's our info:

Date/Day: 12/19 (Monday)
CP show: 8:15 pm
Narrator: Marlee Matlin
Restaurant: Biergarten
ADR time: 5:45 pm
# people: 3 adults

Can't wait!!!

Laura...practically the same as us...

Date/Day: 12/19 (Monday)
CP Show: 8:15pm
Narrator: Marlee Matlin
Restaurant: Chefs de France
ADR time: 5:30pm
# in party: 3

I called in at 5:59 CST and was on hold for 46 minutes, but was able to get exactly what we wanted. I had planned to book a 12/24 CP, but since Gary Sinise isn't narrating and we are seeing Marlee Matlin, who I wanted to see the most, I'll just play it by ear for now. If a great narrator shows up for the 12/22-27 dates, then I'll see what I can get. If not we'll just get an ADR somewhere else and enjoy the night no matter what.

Date: December 24 Our arrival day
CP: 5 pm
Restaurant: Rose 'n Crown 7:40 pm
4 Adults

Called about 10 minutes before 11 am, and after answering the prompts spoke immediately to a CM who had no difficulty booking us. Perhaps it's because we're ok the 5 pm Processional time.

We ate at Le Cellier last year and it was excellent. DH requested the Rose 'n Crown, one of the few Epcot restaurants we've never eaten at.

I noticed that too! Guess we'll see you in the "preferred seating" line -- had lots of fun in that line last year!! I see you also have "3" - our 3rd adult is our 12 year old, Tori! We're heading home on 12/22, but I'd been thinking about staying another day to see Gary. Still might add that day, ESPECIALLY if they get someone REALLY good (Levar Burton are you out there?!!)

Early Dinner at Restaurant Marrakesh in Morrocco, 5pm . Last performance 8:15pm :Pinkbounc I am so excited. We will be wearing lime green on our person somewhere at all times. I am hoping for sun while i'm down there so I don't have to watch the show in my plastic rain poncho. :sunny:

I got through at 3:59 PST. Boy was that early :( . I was never on hold. Even then the only choices that I was given was 4:00 or 4:10. The CM said these were the only times available for a party of 2.

Date and Day: Dec 8th, Thursday
Candle Processional Showtime: 8:15PM
Narrator: Jim C.
Restaurant: Garden Grille (the land)
ADR Time: 5:20PM
Number in Party: 4

On hold from 7am to 8:09am, but I wanted Thursday because it's a MVMCP night and MK would be closed early, so we wouldn't miss much. This way we can stay late at MK on Wed. and hopefully get to see Spectromagic. I also really wanted Jim C. too. We've done this before but ate at the Rose and Crown and the service was terrible. The Garden Grille was on the first tier so I thought I'd try that. Congrats to everyone who got through! :flower:

Here's our CP plans:

December 7th, Wednesday
5:00pm CP (have two small kids so didn't want them to wait too long)
Jim Caviezel
Tepannyaki 7:00pm (picked this restaurant bec. can't use DDE dis. anyway)
Party of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids)

Rolled out of bed at 5:38am and was kicking myself for trusting my husband to set the alarm 3:45am. HE was still snoring away! First dial, after all the prompts, dead silence. Did I just get cut off? Hang up and called again. Second dial, music after all the prompts. Turned on my computer and started reading this thread. OH, dead silence meant I was still on hold. Oh well, wondering why people weren't booking Teppanyaki? Vast majority wanted Le Cellier. Within 10 minutes, got live operator and booked our CP without problems.

Thanks for everyone's help. Wished my husband will get on the same page!!! Better set the alarm myself for the 90 days ADRs.

Have a good time fellow DISers. :grouphug:
