~ºoº ASK QUESTIONS! PART 2!! ºoº

Very commendable answer Hoku.

Neither, because I don't know how to swim. And I will leave flying through the air like a bird for them. I am more of a terrestrial kind of person, although I have a really big interest in Aviation and Astronomy.

Do you believe that world peace is achievable?

Do you believe that world peace is achievable?

No, even if I have to disagree with a stunning Ms. America contestant it's still no. There are too many parts of human nature that will cause conflict.

TNP............ Do you have a piggy bank?

No, I use to though as a brat, I mean kid... ;)

If you won millions of dollars would you quit your day and or night job?

If I had a million dollars the two jobs would be merged, as I would finally have the funding for it!

Who do you like better and why: Elmo or Grover?

Who do you like better and why: Elmo or Grover?

Gover, because Elmo wasn't around in my SS years and Elmo toys make annoying noises.

TNP........... Do you still have any of your childhood toys?

Not much has survived the years. :sad2: Only pictures and videos (thankfully).
Wish I still had my Wizard of Oz playset. Got it for Christmas in...1970? 71, 72?

TNP......Would you rather go back in time or forward in time?

Oh definitely back in time. The things I would do over! Now my poor kids that I live vicariously through...:scared1:

What was your first car?

/
It starts with an F.......... unfortunately the rest that follows is not errari.... not yet anyway! In the meantime, past and present by Ford.

What make and model vehicle would you love to own now?

Doh! Am I just figuring this game out? Does each successive question need to relate to the preceding one? *sigh*. Ok. lemme play it right this time...

Ok, then, right now I'd like to own a hybrid dune buggy.

TNP....Who's a better actor? Sting in the movie DUNE or Harrison FORD in the movie Blade Runner?

No, you got it, Hoku. Once answering a question, you may ask any question at all to your liking. I just decided to write about cars too. Because I love cars, especially muscle cars, sports cars, vintage, and anything that will not run me over. ;)

As much as I like Sting, although it is my understanding that he does not wear deodorant, so perhaps it should be stink..... and was probably the inspiration behind his "Don't stand so close to me" song............... anyway............ Harrison Ford! I love him and Indy.

If you had an opportunity to go skinny dipping in ROA, would you do so? For myself, I would need to take swimming lessons first.

I suppose it depends on how the oppurtunity comes up. I've been in many ponds before with or without proper swim wear. It the situation was right I wouldn't pass it up.

TNP......... So you have a bumper sticker on your car?

No. What can I say?

What does "Give me liberty or give me death" mean to you?

As much as I like Sting, although it is my understanding that he does not wear deodorant, so perhaps it should be stink..... and was probably the inspiration behind his "Don't stand so close to me" song............... anyway............
You're on fire Gisele! Cracking me up. LOL. Well, I'm pretty sure he bathes regularly and is a confident fellow, so it can't be too bad. :)
What does "Give me liberty or give me death" mean to you?
The way it's looking, I'd say it means we're all going to die very soon.

TNP...........Which of the hundreds of Earth altering (as opposed to, say, east coast altering) catastrophes would you prefer?

Haha I find it funny that the headlines are about the next storm now. Just because one storm became a hurricane doesn't mean the next will.

Probably not an evolcanic eruption because it would most likely destroy my whole community.

A deep winter freeze would be tragic because most homes rely on electricity for heat and the last time it happend power lines snapped.

An earthquake would be fine with me. My house is pretty sturdy and even though the fault a miles away can produce a 7.0 I think we are ready for it. Though some bridges would probably be lost that would make it hard to get goods in and out.

TNP.........Have you ever given blood?

Didn't catch the headline. You'd think they'd be too embarrased from the last situation to try the same song and dance again! Talk about crying wolf. But I think they were using it as an opportunity to see where their emergency evacuation procedures might have weaknesses. Not a bad idea, but not at the expense of their credibility.
TNP.........Have you ever given blood?
Are you looking for a reason to be mad at me?? LOL. :rolleyes1

TNP...........Would you rather work behind the scenes on play on the set?

TNP...........Would you rather work behind the scenes on play on the set?

Pretty tough, not too theatrical. I'd guess on stage to feel more active.

TNP.........What is the last live play you watched?

TNP.........Have you ever given blood? by skiboy

Yes, to a mosquito, not pleasant. I would prefer that next time it be by a drop dead ;) vamp.

The last play I attended was at Ford's Theater in Washington D.C. It was a rousing rendition of "Our American Cousin" I was not able to watch it to the end though, because President Lincoln had been shot, by a vile ugly little man. It was a great tragedy, but at least the shooter was finally captured and dispensed with. The presidents killer will now be residing for ever and ever with the devil himself. And forever be roasting upon the pits of hades.

Do you know where the expression your name is mudd came from?..............I do......

Do you know where the expression your name is mudd came from?..............I do......

When using Mudd it's from the doctor who treated Licoln's assasin, John Wilkes Booth. The doctor is Dr. Mudd.

But the expression is rooted from mud, wet dirt that makes things dirty. Calling people mud was deragatory. Nobody liked the doctor who saved the murderer, at least that action. So the expression was applied to him and then mispelled as Mudd and mud were confused.

I know I heard about Dr. Mudd in National Treasure. Maybe the whole tale was explained then.

TNP...........What is your home made off, wood, brick or straw?

I saw that movie, however, I learned about Dr. Mudd from my history classes, as well as from research that I do on the subject of Abraham Lincoln et al. To this day, there is much controversy surrounding him and whether or not he truly was a co-conspirator.

Well first my home was built of straw, but then a big bad wolf came and blowed it down, then it was re-built using wood, it took the wolf a longer time to blow it down, however eventually managed to do so. So I decided to try bricks for the next re-build, and then the wolf came about again, and he huffed and he puffed, and then he huffed again, then he started coughing because he is a chain smoker, and will be in need of oxygen therapy because he is a COPD wolf now, anyway he did not let any of that deter him, for he huffed and he puffed again, but just could not blow this little ol house down this time. And he was never heard from again, not around here anyway. But if you like, he may be visited anytime between 8 am to 5 pm at the snf for ill wolfs and others as well. That is M-Sun.

Have you ever sat upon a tuffet? And if so, eating curds and whey?

:rotfl2:

No I haven't. Sat yes but not with curds and whey.
