The pics of DL were great Darcy!I finished Disneyland Park, but still gotta do California Adventure.
Good morning everyone. . .supposed to be 112 here today, its already in the 90s at 6 in the a.m. Oh well. . .
Interesting. Ever since DCA opened, I frequently criss-cross between both parks when visiting DLR. Can't imagine just enjoying one park for a whole day. When at WDW, I do the same thing, visit multiple parks each day. Being solo does make hopping around between parks a little easier, though.I finished Disneyland Park, but still gotta do California Adventure.
Haha, like your desert GIF....I was just wondering about the heat thing and how YOU dealt with it.

I used to work in a nuclear power plant and I remember standing in front of the main feed pumps during my watch in 120 degree temps and thinking WHY? This is just unbearable. Now I can see the 90's as bearable for a few hours but not the 100's. I like being outside too much to miss it.
Are people's bodies that different? It would seem to me like living on the moon and having to hold your breath to get to your car, lol.
Maybe it's just my Norwegian blood. It's just always amazed me that people could live in this type of physical environment. I'm just curious Darcy, that's all.
I was in Vegas last year for a convention for a week and had a great time, during the winter. I was just wondering about the heat thing and how YOU dealt with it.

Haha, like your desert GIF.BTW, our local temperature forecast is for a chilly 106F (as compared to nurse.darcy's locale).
You obviously have not read my posts about this being my last summer in the Desert. I actually grew up on the California Coastline so I am NOT used to the desert heat. I have only been in the desert since July 2003 and I cannot WAIT to get out of here. . .lol.
So the Florida heat probably does not bother you. I cant imagine 120.
I did this while I was in the Navy. I used to work on the USS Nimitz in #2 plant (not that #2).
I remember doing my watch (graveyard) once in only boots and underwear, lol.
