This made me laugh out loud! I love all of the northern neighbors on this thread!

Almost moved sea world to after Disney for laundry purposes, but DH looked at me like I'd grown 3 heads and stated we couldn't end the vacation with Sea World. Breakfast at Chef Mickey's it is instead!

The offer was actually on the Hilton site itself. During the week, if you stayed 2 nights you'd get the free upgrade. But payment was due at time of booking. Thought I'd have to make another reservation and wait a month before the refund would go through AND it would be minus a change fee. BUT I called and they changed it without any other fees or anything! Woohoo!

Yay for getting all the goods with no fees! And I agree with your DH, ending a Disney vacation with Sea World just doesn't work for me.

I'm 37 lol...I'd like to be in WDW for my 40th too! (is it cold in january?? LOL)

I too am 37 with a birthday in January. How funny.

So once again I finally caught up. This thread moves sooo fast. Someone asked several pages ago who would book a bounceback. I am all over that this year. We have already decided that we are going back next year, and I will not stress over waiting for discounts again next year.

My sister is LOVING the Shopaholic books! There's a new one and I kept hearing her giggle while she was lying on the couch reading the other day.

I like drama and biography but she likes something light to take her mind off things. She loves all of them.

Official Invite to an UnOfficial August DisBoard Meet-up!
There are at least 18 of us in the World on the 20th. Sure we all have touring plans and such, but an opportunity to meet would be fun! Epcot has EMH that night, so I figure many of us will be there. Let me know if you are interested and we can figure out a time and place.

Awwww, darn! We booked the Wishes Dessert Party for that night!

I love Team August! I loved it last year too! I wonder what it is about people willing to go to Disney in August? We're all a little crazy I think.

I just called and dropped the preferred location room down to a standard at CBR. I put requests in for relatively close buildings. I just couldn't spare the extra $212 for preferred when I realized that was all of our tip money or a decently priced rental car. I am feeling good about it. I still wouldn't mind staying at AKL but I have to keep in mind we have WL booked for December and that I need to rope this in. CBR looks so pretty too!!

pigletto we should definitely try to meet up, I'll be at CBR too!

For the rest of the team, I am all for a last week meetup, someone get to organizing! lol

So I am all caught up on the pages. Going to get to work on the LGMH and will post those tomorrow. I know there are some that didnt get added, I was skimming thru kind of quickly so if I happened to overlook ya I apologize, just repost your info and I will definitely add it.

I am going to ask a huge favor, if people could please repost their park days I would appreciate it, I didnt manage to make note of them and I really really dont want to go back thru over 100 pages lol.

I was planning to bring the kids to the marshmallow roast anyway. Have to buy Vegan marshmallows for dd but we'll have plenty to share if any other vegetarians come. I bet you're excited now!
