You can tell we're in the lull part of waiting on our trips. We're waiting on that 60 day mark for online check-in and then the 45-30 day mark for the Mickey Mail. It's too early to pack. Our ADR's, save for one or two, are all set. Not much else to tweak on the plans. Just kind of biding our time. :rolleyes1

Yes you can! :-) although I will most likely be tweaking more than one thing on our trip! A possible resort change and some ADR changes!!

Showing my new-ness to all this, but what is Mickey Mail?

When you get closer to your trip (somewhere between 45 and 20 days or so to go) you'll get mail with all of your package info and some vouchers for stuff (like a free round of mini-golf) and luggage tags (the kind you put your name and address on).
If you signed up for Magical Express you will also get a separate mailing from them with the M.E. vouchers and yellow luggage stickers that go on your suitcase to identify your bags to be picked up at MCO and sent to your resort by the Disney fairies.:goodvibes

Us too. We're at the 71 day mark. Nothing else to do for now.

I was actually 40 last September. My mom's just making me wait for my Birthday gift for a whole year! :confused3

Yeah with all this age talk, but it had me smiling through the day!!
As a matter of fact, my DH and I were just rethinking some ADRs... never good! ;)

Scored some stuff for the kids Welcome Bags... which I need to post a picture of!...

I was trying to snap it to show my sister without the kids seeing. Ignore my pretty purple toothbrush. ;)

I got each of them personalized Mickey ears (which are not a part of the Twice Upon a Year Sale but WERE part of a sale a week or two ago, so shame on me) and small Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Pluto, and Goofy bean bag plushes. Their grandfather got DS a pair of Woody jimjams, and DD a Belle jimjam dress that I'll put in their bags too. DDs bag also has a pack of Disney princess temporary tattoos so far, and DS is getting a Mr. Potato Head for his birthday that he'll get to buy parts for at DTD. I've finished making their autograph books on the computer but haven't had them made and bound yet. I'm thankful we still have 79 days!

I also made a stroller license plate, but instead of waiting for the Disigner to send it to me with our last name/dates on it, I just did that part myself, so I can't share per their rules. It is cute and piratey though.

Totally unrelated, but I have to brag, DS started walking today. :cheer2: He turns 1 on Wednesday, but he's officially a toddler!

Awesome! I love the bags! Where did you get them? I can't decide if I should reuse the buckets from Dec or do something new. Maybe I should make up my mind on that front, but I think I'm procrastinating since we have the buckets...if I can find my oldest's!

Those are awesome!! :thumbsup2 Your kids are going to love their surprises.

Congrats on the wee lad getting mobile!! Now the real fun begins......catch him if you can! ::yes::

For anyone else who is buying their "souvenirs" before we go - the Disney store is having their twice upon a year sale now! I got DD 4 princess dresses for under $90 total last time (that were normally $50 each) so I've been waiting for this sale to come back!

Thanks for posting this...time for a trip to the Disney store!

Thank you Pigletto! We are using Magical Express, so that will be a nice treat, to keep us in the spirit! I love this thread, so helpful!!

I bought them off Etsy, but I'll warn you now, that place is addictive!

I'm 37 lol...I'd like to be in WDW for my 40th too! (is it cold in january?? LOL)

January what? I'll be 37 January 11!

As for BB, I'm probably not going to do it. I'd really like to go on a cruise to the Bahamas or something in the Caribbean. Also we haven't been to the Grand Canyon yet, and my son is at the perfect age to do that now. Though honestly I didn't think we'd do the BB for this year, but last year when we were having so much fun we just had to!

Oh my goodness I'm only 68 days out!!!!! I can't even believe it! I'm so excited! This is the point where everything feels great and can slow down a bit. Once I'm in the 60's we're in the summer and I don't want that to fly-by so I don't mind the wait AS MUCH lol. How about everyone else? :yay:

QOTD: Has anyone tried Disney's kitchen sink before? And, to ask something totally crazy, can you pull off the toppings (cookies, candy bars, cake, etc.) and take them home in a doggy bag and just eat the ice cream?? I'd hate to waste it! :rotfl:

Never tried it....but we did eat at Beaches and Cream for the first time last year. I think my kids ordered large shakes. They didn't eat anything else for almost 24 hours! Those shakes were filling!
