AWM- I'm just curious what this swap is going to be about...it sounds interesting!!

This is my planned swap (Ban Wagon ya know ) and this one just sounds different. So what do you have planned for us? Elements or page kits?

Can you tell I'm feeling a little swap deprived

Most groups will be mini page kits with 4-5 players max.
The largest group will be the days of the week and that will be a mini page kit too.
The kit will include Topper/signage or borders (your choice)and tag and journal box or photo mat (again your choice). So a total of 3 elements. Just enough so you whip out complete pages without needing to add much and simple enough so you don't get bogged down doing the elements.

I'm still toying with the groups. But I plan on making them so that with or without kids, with or without outside the home jobs the groups will work for everyone. Hopefully.

You all can have my laundry and I won't even charge you.



So here's my thoughts. On some items, like laundry & meal prep/cooking would each be their own group of 4-5 people doing 2 elements.

Other things would be grouped together, ie. Daily grind group would combine dishes/cleaning/vacuuming/dusting/making beds, each person picking one item to make their mini kit about.

The hard part is combining items that make sense and won't be useless to some people. I thought about putting the school (drive or bus) idea with the Daily grind (like suggested) but not everyone has kids.

So when the groups are listed, PLEASE feel free to tell me what works and what doesn't. I'm thinking some of the groups could be done more than once as needed, ie Daily Grind 1, Daily Grind 2.

I'm also going to have a group or two of "free for all". Ideas that you come up with that I haven't already listed. With the understanding that you may get items you don't need and you can use the the pass it forward for those.

But how many of the non kid people, or the kid people for that matter, have been stuck behind a school bus, so they could use it as a "this is what happens when you leave 5 minutes late" page, maybe.....

I was puzzling about what to do, as I have a brilliant idea for "waiting at the school gate", but then I though because you ahve school buses maybe none of you do wait at school gates. But maybe you do wait at your own gate - if not for kids, for post (swaps!), DH or whatever

Cut to the chase, if I do "waiting at the gate" (unspecified) would that be of any use to anyone other than me?

Actually, I like waiting at the gate.
It would be a neat idea for those who are scrapping their family history albums, especially if anyone went off to war.
Or us apron-string moms who hated when then first/last child went off to school.
