What's the best way to check to see if the A&E fastpass is available? Do you have to go to replace or change fast pass and then check each time?? Surely there is a better way...

I did the online check in yesterday and was able to make two requests as far as room location, but there was nowhere to request a crib. Is that on another screen somewhere or do I have to call for that? I also noticed that on our reservation it says "2 adults, 1 child, 1 infant" but on the online check in screen it says "2 adults 2 children." Wonder if that's why there was nowhere to request a crib. Disney's website leaves something to be desired, that's for sure.

FP+ setup looks different today. I've been checking each day to see if A&E will open up, but now it's telling me that I have to release the ones I have in order to see the available ones.

I see a lot of people checking in already. Guess I need to do more DIS research on that. No complaints on that here. :rotfl:

I noticed that too, but it doesn't actually release them until you make new selections and confirm them (same as the old way). I was checking to see if Wishes was available for our first night. I saw the message and kept going. Once i saw that it was still not available, I canceled out and my original fast passes are still there.

I do wish they would have kept the messaging that no changes will be made until you confirm the new selections.

No! Wasn't on my MK day... What is the best way to check for available? Do you do replace or change???

I've been checking through the app and just choosing to change times since I already have it. I would probably try by choosing replace, it will not change any current FPs until you confirm.

OMG, I can't believe, how close it's getting!!! I've managed to keep it a secret from the kids so far (can't believe that, either). The plan is to tell them when we stop for dinner on our way down (we're leaving in the afternoon and driving); I'm thinking we'll do a game of hangman with "we're going to disney" as the solution. Now if I can just get everything packed and together without them noticing.

It looks like I lucked out on getting A & E Fastpasses. I had the date on my google calendar with a reminder to stay up late the night before to get them. Something told me, though at 10 a.m. that morning (the day before my window was supposed to open) to check and see if I could get them then and to my surprise it worked!!

Okay, I was too scared to continue

I am going to go crazy waiting for the next 39 days to go by. I have everything planned (down to the minute it seems) and don't have much to do until I can start packing about a week out. This will be our 5th trip to Disney, but I am just as excited if not more for this trip than our first one. Now if I can just find some magical way to make time go faster between now September 7th and then find a way to slow it down while we are there everything will be good!

39 days for us! Got the "alert" that we have 7 days till our magic bands will be ready to ship. I pulled out some suitcases today and put the things I need in them already. We're pretty much ready to go.

I'm a bit bummed because my dog sitter pulled out on us yesterday. She unexpectedly needs to be somewhere so I'm back to square one. I really don't want to have to board him, because he does so much better at home, but there are very few people I trust in our home, kwim?

Just a quick question.

We have Hoop Dee Doo reservations at 8:30pm & it is our MK day, what time would you suggest we leave MK to go over? We want to take the boat as well as we will have to pick up our tickets before the show unless we can pick them up another way/time. Also what is the best way to get back to POP after.

TIA :)

I understand the dog situation completely, just a month ago my dog sitter backed out and we cannot afford to board so I had to start scrambling to find someone. Finally I found my Aunt but once my mom found out she also asked my Aunt if she would be willing to watch her dog too and my Aunt said yes! The problem is that when my moms dog and my dog get together they just go crazy, they love each other and just want to play!

Thankfully the original sitter may be able to watch again, I hope you are able to find someone!:goodvibes

Looks like we're arriving on the same day! :upsidedow :thumbsup2:wave2: I'm out of things to do as well. I have a packing list but don't need to buy anything except gum for flying which I can't buy yet because A. My travel bag is my every day bag here and B. My dogs would find it and eat it if I left it at home! :p

It gets pretty crowded there, they suggest you check in 30-45 minutes ahead of time. Te boat ride only takes about 15 minutes, but you could also end up waiting just as long maybe longer for a boat. I'd probably aim to leave MK about 7pm.

The best way back is probably the boat back to MK then take your bus back to Pop.

I would say leave MK by 6:45 or 7 at the latest. Even if you get there and get your tickets with time to spare Ft. Wilderness gorgeous and I love walking around. The beach, the trading post, the porch outside Trails End....I love it.

Have you ever been to HDDR before? It's fantastic! We have reservations for 9/25 at 8:30!
