I would say leave MK by 6:45 or 7 at the latest. Even if you get there and get your tickets with time to spare Ft. Wilderness gorgeous and I love walking around. The beach, the trading post, the porch outside Trails End....I love it. Have you ever been to HDDR before? It's fantastic! We have reservations for 9/25 at 8:30!

We haven't, this is our 5th visit and have never visited for some reason. I'm excited about this. One thing I'm trying to find out is if we have to wait to get there to get our tickets or can we pick them up at our resort? We will be there on Oct 1st.

Just so excited! I received my Tinkerbell Disney Visa today so getting ready to start the rewards! At the 60 day mark! Tonight, I get to stay up late to select my FP+!!!!

Our first trip we kept it a secret until we stopped for dinner in the Smokey Mtns. We had our waitress bring a small present over with our dessert and we told them we were celebrating our first night of vacation. They were sooooo excited!!!
Second trip we told them we were headed for a historical road trip and assisted them packing bags but when we arrived to the airport and had them place our Disney luggage tags on, they burst out into tears.
Last year I kept each day's agenda a secret with special Pixie Dust fun to arrive nightly while they were sleeping.
This year our DD is celebrating sweet 16 at CRT-a new experience for all of us AND she has a special cake coming. Our DS gets to do the Pirate Cruise and youngest DD gets her first BBB event. All top secret!!
Hope everyone that is keeping it a secret doesn't tear up too much watching them find out their WDW trip!! I know each year it always get me so emotional and happy to see that we were able to provide yet another amazing family memory.

I know! 46 days for us! We just paid off the trip today! THAT was exciting! I have a list of things we need, started making a list with my boyfiriend of the clothes we should pack...can't wait for the Magic Bands and Magical Express stuff to come in the mail!

I feel like that too! And every Tuesday is one week closer...I have a "countdown" on my FB page-every Tuesday I pick a different photo of WDW and I post it with how many weeks we have left and tag the people that we're going with. I've been doing it since 22 weeks and when I post on Tuesday it will be 6 weeks....we're getting there!!

Has anyone gotten travel insurance? My TA sent me a link, not pushing but informative. I can get it cheaper through my bank. But is it a waste of money. We are going at the end of sept., still hurricane season. I would hate to lose that disney $$$

I've gotten it. I have it for my trip this September. I'm not sure if it's worth it but I just feel like you never know what could happen. I also travel with 2 kids and twice their strollers have gotten damaged after gate checking them. The insurance covered the damage twice. The first time the entire stroller was damaged so they have me the maximum coverage which was $500. The second time they gave me the cost of the frame as it was just a piece that was damaged.

That's funny. We're going from August 30th to September 6th. 2 days ago, I told my wife, "Just 2 more days until we're going to Disney World this month!"

Yes, I cannot believe it's next month!

Ordered some packing cubes from ebags (on sale right now... fyi), and ordered DD's diapers too. 5 weeks from today we'll be in Disney already checked in (granted plane is on time) and hopefully just hanging out and maybe even at the Hippy Dippy Pool!

It's just all too exciting!

And I forgot too add -- the color on the countdown for customizing magic bands is now orange. It's getting real folks!

I've been doing it since 22 weeks and when I post on Tuesday it will be 6 weeks....we're getting there!!

We are at the "6 weeks next Tuesday" too! It seems like we have been waiting so long for this vacation, and it's ALMOST HERE!

I guess I could say we are leaving on the 15th, as that will be our first night on vacation (we stay at the airport the night before we fly out). YIPPEE! Thanks to all disboard goers that keep the spirit of the wait alive, as I'm not sure I could stand it without a support group!
