Thanks for the Tonga Toast recipe! I am going to save it to make when we come home from WDW. I want to try the "real thing" at the Poly before I attempt to make it on my own!
I can't believe how rude that CM was! We have encountered only a few rude CMs in all of our trips, and it is always disappointing to encounter one. One thing that I especially love at WDW is that everyone seems to love their job, with a few exceptions.
Hope you had a great weekend!
Yes, you need to try the real thing first!! I can't wait to see what you think about the Poly. And tonga toast!
Yes, that guy was unbelievably rude. Not sure what his problem was.
I can't believe how rude that CM was. Sounds like he needs to retire... again! It looks like that's his retirement job.
It's so amazing how crowded and busy it is in the afternoon. Some people just don't understand RD or just at least getting there early.
But that's ok w/ us!!!
You're right -- I think he needs to retire AGAIN!!
I know what you mean. When we went back to MK that Saturday we got there at RD. And around 10-11:00 the people just started pouring in, it was crazy.
wow!!! What an aweful cast member you had the misfortune to have to come across How is he still working there??? I honestly can't see Disney finding that acceptable!! and why did he think everything was such a huge problem anyway?? disney is so good about making their line ups efficient that it should have all been just fine. I don't recall how the line up is for the train bc it's been so long since we were there but honestly - every other ride cue area is so well managed that the CM's don't really concern themselves with where people are standing.
Hope you were able to shake that negativity off real fast.
I don't know how that guy is keeping his job. I would like to think he was just having a bad day, but it really seemed more like his personality and like he had a real chip on his shoulder and didn't enjoy his job at all. I don't know why he thought it was such a big problem. It wasn't crowded and like you said -- WDW's line are efficient. But yeah, we just kind of forgot about him once we left the train station!!
