While waiting for the boat we found out about the earthquake on the East Coast. When we got back to the room we checked out CNN and found out it was felt all the way up here. Later Pooksma was speaking with her Dad and they were watching the reports of some of the government buildings in our downtown swaying back and forth. We have the odd small shake around here but nothing like that.
Soon we were on our way back to POFQ.
Back at the resort our time was spent relaxing, checking the weather home, swimming and trying to get the string thing to work (with no success).
We headed to EPCOT around 6 but I stopped at the Concierge desk to see what our options were to return the broken string thing that was purchased at a kiosk and with no receipt. I was told to bring it to them and they would send a runner in the morning to exchange it. Score!
At EPCOT we headed to the WS through Canada. Yea for Home!!!
Oh and it rained a bit.
We checked in the UK for a soccer for Declan. He decide he wanted the Manchester United jersey that we would pick up later in the week. Headed into France.
There may have been a Grey Goose slushie stop at this point.
and headed in Morocco.
I think Declan took those last couple of pictures.
We headed back to check in for the ADR and stood in line with some more rude people and some people who didn't understand the concept of personal space. We checked in and waited probably 20 minutes past our booked time. The waiting area was very crowded and they don't use the buzzers here.
The restaurant it self was one big room with two levels (higher on each side). The staff was very friendly and it was quick. We all ended up with the same thing, chicken kabobs with olive salad and couscous. It was excellent.
Declan grabbed the camera again.

After a great meal we opted for a few rides while everyone else waited for Illuminations. We hit Test Track, Mission Space (well Declan and I did) and Soarin.
MS was a walk on, TT was about 15 minutes and Soarin was the typical 40 to 60 minutes in the most boring queue there is. We also ran into a family with two boys who were way to tired to still be in the park. Started with a melt-down followed by the grand mother deciding she would carry one past the people in line. Luckily the grand father and others were not going to follow and asked her to come back. She wouldn't but it didn't get her any further ahead because she had to wait for them once we got past the first gate.
Back at the resort I took the string thing to the front desk but the concierge desk was closed and the CM at the check-in desk had no idea what I was talking about. I decided I would try again in the morning but in the meantime I wanted a few night-time pictures from POFQ.
Up next, a longer day at DHS than expected and a Dis Meet for diner. Stay tuned
