Hi would you be interested in meeting when we get there? Our dd will be 11 in August and has no siblings, it might be great to get them together.

Thank you thank you ! Apparently gma Kris' fav character is Aladdin :)
Are there fish extender hooks by every door? Do you know off hand what the diameter of the stateroom number on the door is, I would like to make a magnet for our door

There are fish (starfish, seahorses, etc.) by every stateroom door. They aren't exactly hooks, more like decor that you can hang something over. The staff will use the ledge behind the fish to leave messages. I'll see if I can find a photo and post it so you can see.

Here's a picture of one of our doors on a previous cruise. This was on the Magic. I think the Dream has seahorses instead of these fish, but you get the idea.

I think the circle with the room number is 7.5 inches in diameter. :)

I'm not sure of the measurements but I have seen them in other posts. Just use the search option to find what you need. You will even be able to find pictures of the doors with magnets and FE hanging. Good luck!

    Hello everyone,

Counting down the days till we start our vacation and taking our first cruise. I was wondering if people would be interested in meeting up once on board. we could do drinks by the pool, afternoon desserts or any other ideas.

Let me know if you would be interested

Yes! Definitely! On other Disney cruises I have been on, we have met before Muster- but that was on the Magic, and we met in the Promenade lounge. Do you think we could meet at the Bon Voyage Lounge? It's the little bar area off of the Atrium on Deck 3- or is there somewhere else meets usually take place on the dream? The nice thing about that lounge is that we can take a group photo on the stairs right there- we have always found a CM willing to click a few (hundred lol) cameras.:goodvibes

The hubby and I are headed to Mexico tomorrow for 5 nights- Iberostar Grand Paraiso- it's very nice, we went last year, too. Can not WAIT to get away from this FRIGID weather!!:beach:

We would definitely like to meet everyone! Since this is our first DISmeet, we'll just follow what everyone else wants to do. :)

I would love it. I'll be traveling with my DS8, who I suspect is going to be spending hours on end in the kids club area, so I'm going to be alone quite a bit. It'll be nice to chat with some other "free" parents around the ship.

Hi Everyone - i have an almost 11 year old son and a 13 year old daughter going on the cruise. I am wondering if anyone has children similar in age? I am planning on them both going in the edge. My 13 year old is very shy and it would great for her to meet someone before the cruise - like a pen pal. My son would prefer to not have to hang out with his sister:)

I just called and got my onboard credit for using my Disney Visa. So, I have a total of $150 for the two cabins. That will help go to the Dolphin Encounter. So, happy. I thought it was just $50 per stateroom, but it was $25 for the initial booking plus $50 for using Disney Visa. That was nice to get a little extra.
