    Strongbow Cider in UK Epcot?

Hello there friends, So I admit it...I have become a bit of a cider snob. Back when cider was much more rare, a lot of what we got here in Seattle were imports from Europe. Blackthorn and Strongbow were my favorites--medium-dry English ciders make me happy. The US-made ciders were a bit too...

Official Seattle information thread Updated 5/28/2014-Oso update

I would also add that if you are a Chihuly fan, there is a Chihuly glass museum at the Seattle Center. Which also has an awesome science center, IMAX theater, a large local-focus food court, and any number of cultural events going on throughout the year! You will be engulfed in Disney soon...

Official Seattle information thread Updated 5/28/2014-Oso update

Neither of these stores are in Seattle. They are in a city called Lynnwood which is about 35 minutes north of downtown. Easy shot up I-5 if you have a rental car. Expensive by cab, difficult by bus. The mall is called 'Alderwood Mall'.

I am excited about the renovations. Getting to enjoy it so brand spanking new is fantastic!

Talk me INTO Boardwalk Club Level?

First of all, great analogy with the necklace! We have had a couple literal gift times just like that--a necklace in one case, and a purse in another. He has excellent taste usually, but even the best gift givers get it wrong sometimes. So we talked about it and we went to the store to return...

Talk me INTO Boardwalk Club Level?

LOL! Of course, I very nearly invoked Let It Go in my original post. ;) And you're right. I need to keep in mind that while definitely a thoughtful gift for me, he is subtly communicating his wishes as well. And wouldn't I want him to have this if this were HIS celebration? So why not enjoy...

Talk me INTO Boardwalk Club Level?

AHA! :rotfl: Yeah, we are going with other family, but they are not rooming with us and not staying Club Level. If I had to share a space, I would want to try and get a one bedroom or adjoining at the least. Yes, since we will be getting in around the time of evening appetizers and wine/beer...

Talk me INTO Boardwalk Club Level?

I am certain I would have had this reaction had we not on multiple previous occasions discussed it at length and decided it was a lot of money for nothing we would really use. Hence, rather than be excited, I was frankly confused! Can you tell me more about what you love about it? Please, I...

Talk me INTO Boardwalk Club Level?

I need some help shifting my mindset about something, and hope you guys will be just what the doctor ordered. So the good news is, I am being whisked away to Disney World for my 40th birthday in September by my best friend and husband. It is semi-short notice, which is making saving for it kind...

BoardWalk Inn Concierge - First Impression

I didn't see it listed anywhere in the thread, but what room was this? We are staying standard club level in August/September, and we hoped to get a King bed with a view. This looks ideal! Do feel free to PM if you prefer not to post it in the thread.

Boardwalk Inn? Good choice for Poly lover?

Coming a little late to this, but we have done only Poly and Boardwalk on our trips. We loved Poly, but BWI has our hearts. Primarily for us because of hte proximity to World Showcase and the Boardwalk entertainment and food in the evenings. It is just fantastic to have all that at your "back...

    September 2014 Discount Watch!

Hi JafarLover! We have done the math a million ways over the years. Never ever have we found the Dining Plan to be a better deal than a discounted room. And we are big eaters and love signature restaurants. But no matter how we do the math we end up saving more on room discounts. Especially...

Club 33 was a major disappointment.

"Recordings"? So what you took was not a live tour? That would be a big difference then. We have done that tour twice and loved it both times. I knew most of what the tour had to share, but still had a ton of fun, with a great live tour guide! I got to chat the guides up both times to get even...

    Gotta love trip insurance!

For our Disney cruise for just hubby and I, insurance was something like $75. So I think it varies widely!

what kind of bag or tote do you use?

I think bags are so individual for each person. A "designated carrier" for a family of four with teenagers is going to be very different from a family with a babe-in-arms (big old diaper bag anyone?) is going to be different for a couple with no kids. Someone into photography (I need my lenses!)...

    Unique Family Name Announcements

Bummer! Sounds like a noob at the door. I guess it needs to be someone with a little more seniority who knows what they can get away with and not. They said what is your family? I said "The Moores" (we are C. and S. Moore) and they said "please welcome the Moores Family!" I was bummed at...

    Palo Reservation Question?

What sounded strange to me was someone saying they could only book once per cruise. Sorry for the placement of the sentence, it musta been confusing itself.
