Getting ready to head out on our 1953 mile journey from PEI on July 26th. Last trip was December 2015. We are thinking about cutting over to the coast to travel the Chesepeake Tunnel Bridge and down to Charlston, SC before heading back to the I95. Has anyone ever done this?
We are leaving on Thursday from Stratford, PEI to drive to Kissimmee. 1953 miles each way. Wish us luck for great weather and traffic conditions.

My daughter is flying out of Charlottetown on Westjet for $460 return on Dec 13th...one stop in Toronto...she is returning direct from Orlando on January 8th. We are driving. She booked online with STATRAVEL
Great news today...my husband got bumped up to 30 hours from 15 hours at his grocery store job...we are so excited.
Hoping to get the van paid off by Jan 15th to free up $530 per month to put on another loan plus his wages from 30 hours a week and my 25 hours per week at my 2nd job!

I work in an office 37.5 hours a week and work at McDonalds parttime appx 20 to 24 hours per week.
The extra money is nice and I personally love working there...totally different than my day job...when people I know from my office job first see me they seem shocked but alot have told me that...
I made turkey, dressing, potatoes, turnip, carrots, peas, corn niblets and gravy...my dressing is made with potatoes and bread but lots of people on PEI make it without the potatoes.
Paula
When we use to camp, the night before I would boil a big pot of potatoes and cube them...I would fry some for breakfasts, along with toast, eggs and bacon, and I would whip up a potato salad.

Here, in PEI, they can get their learners permit at age 16 and have to have it for 1 year (or 9 months if you take Drivers Ed) before you can take your road test. And you have to have a big yellow and black "L" sticker on the windsheild.
When you pass your drivers test, you have a big yellow...

I am not sure if I wrote before that my husband started his new parttime job. First week it was 1 shift, this week they increased it to 2 shifts and today they called him...
We live on Prince Edward Island and it takes us about 9 hours just to get to Portland, Me. But we don't mind the drive to Florida. It is nice to have your own vehicle and take whatever you want.
BTW many people from PEI drive to Portland to fly out of because the rates are so much cheaper...
My DH got a parttime job at the grocery store he wanted. Starts off 9-2 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays which works out great because he can drop DS7 off at school and the store is really close to the school...Plus the store is beside the flower shop that our DD21 works at so they can...
Things seem to be getting easier to handle in my house. I am loving my new second job which I started in July at a fast food joint close to home. It was comical though the other day, I got off of my office job at 3:30, had to report to the restaurant at 4, so my husband picked me up and I...
We no longer have trains on Prince Edward Island since 1989...all of the tracks have been pulled up and have been made into Rails to Trails for walking and cycling...I do drive across a Rails to Trails everyday though.
Paula
I am from Prince Edward Island (PEI) and am a female lol
