    Tony Hinds question

Yes, Tony has to farm out the overflow. His associated drivers have always been pretty good, but Tony is the best at it. He's getting up in years so I cut him so slack.

    Question about Portofino Club Lounge

You definitely have to go up stairs to get to the lounge.

    2019 Disney Parks Moms Panel

Here's a warning. I got a rejection last week but my wife didn't. After looking on here and seeing people got Round 2 notices I told her to check spam and there was her Round 2 notice. So, if you haven't gotten anything, definitely check spam.

Where to eat at Universal Orlando including menus...UPDATED REGULARLY

And the big empty space at RPR looks sad and awful. I hope they get something exciting very soon.

DVC purchase requires disclosure of State marriage took place?

I'd be generous, I don't think everyone pays attention to the news. Most people, if the form says to ask it, they will ask it to the point of absurdity. Chalk it up to cluelessness.

An American question about UK Food

Sounds like what in the U.S. would be called vanilla pudding. Here's a recipe for vanilla pudding: 1/3 cup sugar 2 tablespoons cornstarch 1/8 teaspoon salt 2 cups milk 2 large egg yolks, slightly beaten 2tablespoons butter or margarine, softened 2teaspoons vanilla 1 In 2-quart saucepan, mix...

Major credit card at check in?

The last time I was there we used a Visa debit. Whatever amount you wanted to use for charging they charged to the card immediately then refunded any overage.

We Knew It Was Coming . . .

Perhaps Disney is under the mistaken impression that guests pay premium prices at Crystal Palace and Hollywood&Vine just because the food is so especially good, and they don't have to do anything else to fill the place.

We Knew It Was Coming . . .

This is the new customer service model, the customer is always wrong, give us your money and move along. There is a breaking point and I think it's coming sooner than Disney expects.

Transportation to/from airport from Universal Resort

We were talking to Tony on the way to our hotel in April and he credits you with all his business.:-) By the time we got to the luggage carousel Tony had gathered all our bags and was ready to go.

    Caribe Royale??

We stayed at Caribe Royale Tower 3 the first week of April. My wife's room key had problems but mine did not even though it was next to the magnet in my billfold. The WiFi had dead areas but they claim to be doing an upgrade. All in all, we really liked the hotel which was very nice, as nice as...

Weather nice enough to swim mid December?

Last year, around Christmas, the highs were in the 80's every day we were there. The year before we were there in early December and half the days of our 9 day trip were 80's and sunny and the next half were 50's and constant cold mist with RPR closing their pool one night because of cold. It's...

    Cape May Question

I may be alone on this, but I think Cape May is not "worth it." When we we there, the buffet was picked over, and the place had too few wait staff with way too much to do. The food, what there was of it, was overcooked and gray. The crab legs were too much work for the paltry amounts, and...

The EpiPen that cost $75 in 2001 costs over $300 today

That too, having a Senator with control of the purse strings would make the FDA drag their feet in approving any competitors. Crony capitalism at its finest. The fact that she got a degree on phonied transcripts and screwed her own stockholders to protect her control of the company doesn't...

The EpiPen that cost $75 in 2001 costs over $300 today

I'm sure having a powerful Senator as a daddy had absolutely nothing to do with any of her success.

Allowed to bring adult beverages into pool area?

Remember to go during Happy Hour if they still have it, it was like 5-7. There was no problem bringing drinks, with the stipulation that they were not in glass.

    Room Charging

I've charged everywhere. There have been snags every now and then, denials and having to have them call hotel, and one double charge at 3 broomsticks due to a fumble fingered cashier. All were quickly sorted.

    Lanyard Recommendation

The ones pictured in the Amazon listing are my preferred design. I would get the larger of the vertical holders though. It's makes it easier to get items in and out and the narrower ones are sometimes just too tight.

    DLXDP & kids?

If children are 10 or older they're considered adults for the purposes of the dining plan. Under 10 are supposed to order off the child menu wherever available.
