    Wonder Changes

Hello, We just returned from our last cruise, and we booked our next one out of Galveston for Nov 10, 2016. Just realized this is apparently the first cruise after a drydock...does anyone know what type of changes are being made to the ship (or is there a link somewhere that outlines them)...

    10664 on Fantasy

We stayed in 10166 on the Fantasy, which I think is right next door. Loved it, and booked it again for our upcoming Dream cruise. Some slight noise from Cabanas, but it never woke us up in the morning or kept us awake at night. I think I heard it during the afternoon sometimes, but is not...

    Disney Dream Category 5E

Stayed in 10166 on the Fantasy (center aft) and loved it. Minor noise that did not bother us at all. Easy to run up one flight to cabanas to bring back breakfast for the kids. Booked same room on Dream next year

Holiday Inn Vacation Club Cape Canaveral to Port

We stayed at this resort after our 7-day Fantasy cruise last September (back when it was Ron Jon's Cape Caribe). I will say the resort was great, and would love to stay there again...lots of activities for the kids, a waterpark, pretty easy access to the ocean, etc. We had the 2 bedroom suite...

    Small World or Dreams Unlimited?

I'll put another vote in for Small World, which we have used for both cruises and our upcoming one (haven't used DU - but sound like they are similar). Extremely helpful and friendly, and very responsive....calls back or emails quickly and answered all my questions, moved people around, changed...

    Parks Before or After??

We did a 4 day Dream cruise, followed by 4 days at the parks in June, 2012. I think we would have liked it better if we did it the other way around (still a fantastic time though) Although Disneyworld, Epcot, Universal were great, it was very HOT and very crowded, and not as relaxing as the...

    Discover Atlantis Excursion

We did that excursion 2 years ago, and 'the dig' tour actually did have some time outside. I'm not sure if those items you listed are the same things we saw, but we did see a lagoon type place with some stingrays swimming around. They also point out a lot of the outside architectural features...

Beach on St. Thomas & St. Marten

We did the legendary kon-tiki excursion in St Thomas. It is a boat ride with a steel drum band and other activities, and then about 60-90 minutes at some beach. Was very laid back there and we enjoyed it a lot (fairly reasonable prices). We picked it because of the price and it departs from...

    September cruise

We cruised last year, Sep 21-28th on the Fantasy (Eastern Caribbean). Great weather, smooth seas....with about 15 minutes of rain one day. The Fantasy met a tropical storm the week after us, so was probably a little rougher. The water in St Maarten, St Thomas, and Castaway Cay was very...

    Cat 5E Aft Room Question

I certainly liked our views from 10166 (center) when leaving St Thomas last year :) As far as the noise from Cabanas, I think we heard some while they were cleaning, but was definitely not enough to wake us up at night or bother us during the day....we booked same room next year on the...

    Need Info on Dream 5E's

We stayed in 10166 on the Fantasy last year. I posted some pictures and talked some about the soot in this post: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=50714949#post50714949 We really enjoyed the room, and even booked the same room on the Dream for next year!

    Cat 5e

I also love the 5e rooms, and just booked it again next year. I posted some pics of the verandah from room 10166 in another threade, which is straight up 3 decks: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=50714949#post50714949

Sent myself a postcard from Castaway Cay and it hasn't arrived

For the two cruises we went on, it took about 4-5 weeks each time to make it to Texas.

where would you stay for 2 nights after cruise?

We stayed 2 nights at the Ron Jon Cape Caribe resort after our cruise in September. We loved the resort, and it is right next to the beach in Cape Canaveral. There is a trip report that has a lot of pictures of the place (has a waterpark, minigolf, indoor children's play area, etc) We had...

Help with Discover Atlantis Excursion thru DCL

You don't necessarily have to follow the guide through the entire tour. When we went a couple years ago, the guide easily lost over half the tour group (of maybe 25 people or so) throughout the 45 minutes...either through not being able to keep up, or people just wanting to explore on their...

Help with Discover Atlantis Excursion thru DCL

I believe the transportation was done by some sort of modified large passenger van. I don't even remember if there are seatbelts on it. Riding to Atlantis was pretty crowded, so the 18mo old and 3 year old sat on our laps.

    Deck 9 or 10?

We have stayed on deck 10 on both the Fantasy and Dream. Did hear a little noise, but it never bothered us/woke us up. Would not hesitate to book deck 10 again. Was very easy to get to Cabanas (and bring back breakfast for the kids) whenever we wanted since was just one flight of stairs.

    Disney Fantasy

It is a Category 5E, which is basically the family room at the very AFT (pointing backwards). That's why it has that large balcony. Very nice room, sleeps 4 with the queen bed, the converted couch, and a pull-down bunk from the ceiling. Also has the split-bath...we really enjoyed it.

    Disney Fantasy

Here are some pictures of the veranda for room 10166 on the Fantasy from when we sailed last September. We loved the extra space The view as we were leaving St. Thomas The girls loved to run around. The only issue is that there would sometimes be some soot from the stack on...
