We were on the 3-day Dream cruise when Sandy not only prevented us from landing anywhere, but kept everyone below decks (deck 4 and deck 11 outside off limits)' and we did not feel overcrowded. Some congestion near the main stairs and midship elevators on occasion, that's all :).

14 days, 3 and a half hours before our PAT! :yeah!:

My DD is desperate to have a spa treatment on the Dream, but turns 13 2weeks after our cruise. Has anyone been shown any mercy by the spa as far as the 13 year old age limit? Who would I ask?

It's true that the lunch experience at Royal Palace is different, but we had a great meal there! DD and I still talk about the chilled mango soup with mint foam!

Last October, hurricane Sandy, we didn't land anywhere, both CC and the Nassau dock were damaged. The cast members kept saying things like "but we're happy because everyone is SAFE, aren't we?". It makes me think they knew that the Fantasy had been tossed around pretty seriously the day before...

We were on the Dream last year, Oct. 24, when Hurricane Sandy was going through. Even though we ended up not going to either CC or Nassau (storm damage), and weren't able to go above decks (weather!), we still had a good time. We received a 25% off discount for another cruise of the same kind...

Got off the phone with DCL about an hour ago, just to see what they had to say. No surprises- "don't worry, the cruise will happen, any changes to the itinerary can't be decided upon until much closer to departure time, etc". The CM mentioned some possible options in passing, not promising...

Has anyone done the Atlantis Aquaventure? I thought I read somewhere that lockers were available but now can't find the reference. Do they lock if available?
