Free internet in Royals on Classic ships?

I had a question? Is anything preloaded on the iPads, like games, apps, reading material (other than what comes on a stock device?)

Posibility on getting a sold out cabana?

Just FYI...there is no Cabana #13 (maybe for superstitious reasons) and DCL told me Cabana #16 is usually saved for DCL staff. That's cool you ended up getting it! Wishing the previous poster good luck in getting one, they are so worth it, imo! :-)

    Toddler Food

There are a lot of pouch packaged pureed food (organic and non-organic) -- those have been our lifesaver for all trips! Brands include: Ella's Kitchen, Happy Tot, Peter Rabbit Organics, Earth's Best Organics, & Plum Organics. Most of them come in some kind of fruit-vegetable mixture, but...

Would like to know more about Cabanas??

The cabanas are very much worth the money, in our opinion! The family beach gets crowded, and especially since you have a baby, finding an ideal spot with shade and enough chairs, umbrellas, etc. is very difficult. The cabana price seems high, but it also includes what you would normally pay...

    Fantasy 7N Western - July 6, 2013

LOL!!! I always have the same problem when just buying knee-high boots for the winter season. Makes me feel like I have "thunder calves" when sometimes getting a wide-calf still isn't wide enough?? I saw that several online costume shops have tie-on boot "facades" even for us adults-- like...

I too love the sun, but still love the cabana...it provides a nice haven of relaxation while still giving you lots of sun access! As I'm sure you've seen, it is really competitive to get an umbrella or tree shade on the non-cabana side of the beach. And the cabana rental price includes all the...

    Fantasy 7N Western - July 6, 2013

Hi again! Yes, we previously did concierge on our first cruise aboard the Dream back in 2010. However, we only did the 3-night cruise, which was far too short! For our second cruise on the Dream last year, we opted for the 5-nighter, but made our reservation too late so we weren't in time...

Pre-cruise at WDW - Which option would you choose?

Hello! We've been at your decision-making point before so I can safely say -- definitely don't go back to MCO! What you might not realize is the "Magical Express" bus that takes folks from the airport to the WDW resorts (and back to the airport) is free. However, all DCL buses are not free...

    Disney Fantasy room 11006

Hey, I just released that room in exchange for another one. When I booked it, I didn't realize it was handicap-accessible, which means there are two HA roll-in shower stalls, but absolutely no bathtub. With a toddler in tow, a bathtub (for me) was a must-have. I've read reviews saying this...

    Main or Late dining?

You're right in that there is no real "compelling" reason -- but for us (myself, husband, toddler, and a teenager) who are all "late nighters" -- the later dining option just works for us. With all the port excursions and spa appointments I make, I honestly can't see how anyone gets themselves...

    Is it worth it?

Having done a 3-night and a 5-night cruise (about to embark on my first 7-night cruise soon) -- we've concluded anything less than 5-nights is just too short! Of course, the longer cruises are more expensive. But, if you're giving yourself a choice, (as much as I also love WDW) I'm with your...

Best Way To Pack Food for Hotel?

For snacks, we've done a combination packing strategy. We put small, prepackaged snacks like granola bars, etc. into one medium plastic container. For other snacks like pretzels & trail mixes, we pour them into their own large ziploc bags. Then, we suck out the excess air and lay the bags...

    Lanyard? Pouch? "Stuff holder"

A small fanny pack is best, imo. Or, my trick is to sneak things into the small backpack that my husband carries around all day! If you are a repeat sailer, you will get a cool Castaway Club backpack with lanyards in your stateroom when you board, so no need to buy a separate lanyard. :)

** I'd like to swap out my Category 00T Handicap-Accessible Fantasy Stateroom **

Thanks for your comments & suggestions! Particularly to those who forwarded me the thread where my fellow cruisemates are meeting to discuss my specific cruise. :) Wanted to close the loop and say when I phoned the DCL concierge line today, there miraculously was a different 00T room...

    Fantasy 7N Western - July 6, 2013

Hi dsnylvrs2, I'm doing the concierge level on this cruise, but I think maybe anyone can call DCL and the reservation specialist might be able to tell you? My concierge specialist just told me there are 3 possible rotations for this cruse. Each restaurant is designated by its first initial...

    Fantasy 7N Western - July 6, 2013

Hi, the confusion comes into play because the two computer/booking systems do not relate to each other! The online check-in feature gives out port arrival times to help control the volume & flow of people at the terminal. The earlier you check-in online, the more options you have to choose...

Hi, not sure if someone else already answered your pirate night question, but since I just asked DCL this question on the phone the other day, I have the answer! Pirate night will be on our Cozumel day, July 10th. pirate: Can't wait...our whole family has costumes ready!

    Earliest Flight after cruise

Hey everyone, I was worried on my last cruise because I booked an 11:59am flight, but I can assure everyone here -- we had PLENTY of time to arrive at MCO, get through security, etc. We had ample waiting time at the gate. If you can, use DCL's onboard airline check-in service. When you put...

** I'd like to swap out my Category 00T Handicap-Accessible Fantasy Stateroom **

Hi PyxiiDustt, When I called them back to make sure they knew I did not request a handicap room, they said they didn't need any paperwork. I think bottom line is they just want the money for the room, which isn't right... :(

** I'd like to swap out my Category 00T Handicap-Accessible Fantasy Stateroom **

Hello fellow DCL cruisers! By way of introduction, I've sailed twice on the Dream (3-night & 5-night Bahama cruises) -- and I am about to enjoy a 7-night Western Caribbean sailing on the Fantasy this summer. I was assigned a handicap-accessible stateroom, which I don't need or want...
