30 Years & Counting HHN 2021, XXX Let’s Stick This One!

I wonder if they end stay and scream queues or end up in Citywalk. They do virtual queues for all houses through the app. I wouldn’t be surprised if they close main park out earlier (say 4 PM) and make everyone re-enter for social distancing. We could be normal and we could be with a very...

    Which would have lower crowds?

I would think MLK is less crowded or equal to Columbus Day. HHN is on during Columbus Day weekend and that will influence crowds a ton.

    Various last-minute questions!

They are only doing one day at a time on shows, so check with Guest Services on Cinematic Celebration. If you can, I would download UOR app. They have a lot of features on it.

30 Years & Counting HHN 2021, XXX Let’s Stick This One!

I’m a first timer to HHN and booked for 8/29-9/5. Great package price ($1200 for day tix and room at Cabana Bay). I know I will have only two nights. I know about Stay and Scream, but what other things would make my first timer better. How would you handle the daytime for HHN? I rarely go past...

    Any idea about Fantasmic return

Thinking about pairing a couple days at WDW while l’m at UOR at end of August. Has anyone heard when Fantasmic will return to DHS? The theatre could easily handle social distancing unless backstage can’t, but there has been no word about when it returns. Is it possible these don’t ever come back...

    Question about VIP Experiences

I am thinking about doing a public VIP experience during my March 12-15 trip. I’ve seen YouTube videos for the private ones. How different are the public ones? Is it worth the $349 cost for the 8 hour two park one? I enjoyed the USH one when I did it a decade ago, but there are perks to USH one...

    CABANA BAY BEACH RESORT Thread..........

I love Cabana Bay and am glad you chose it for your stay. To answer some questions, that haven’t been answered: Buses run every 10-15 minutes from an hour before EPA until an hour after parks close. The drop off/pickup point is just above the Security screening area for the Parks/Citywalk...

Transportation from Bill Frederick to Universal

All Ubers pickup/drop off at the Jurassic Park garage. Taxis drop off near where buses drop off. It’s right below the security point to get into Citywalk. There are no in park pickup or drop off spots for any form of transportation. An Uber is $10-15 from Bill Frederick RV park one way. I would...

Laissez les bon temps rouler (let the good times roll). Short trip to Universal for Mardi Gras 2021......Feet don’t fail me now.

Really enjoying the trip report, so far. Have a couple questions for you. What were your favorite things to eat at Mardi Gras? Would a 10 or 15 tasting lanyard work best for a single person on a four day trip? Heading down in three weeks and looking forward to seeing Mardi Gras again

    CABANA BAY BEACH RESORT Thread..........

Booked for CBBR from March 12-15 and put a note that it was my Birthday on the reservation. Does that really mean anything like a room upgrade? I am curious if there is any magic the hotel does for that option or just the Birthday button. Not expecting any magic at the Hotel but was curious. Do...

Questions about traveling during Orlando Schools Spring Break

I am thinking about traveling to Disney World or Universal from March 12-15 (start of Orlando Spring Break). I am seeing on Universal’s website that it’s a busy time due to hours (8 AM-10 PM). I am seeing all Disney World parks with availability except DHS on 3/14 and 3/15. Should I expect a...

PBH vs HRH? Which one to choose?

Both HRH and PBH are the same price under AP rate for the March 12-15 trip. I have seen them both online and they have similar advantages/disadvantages. I am doing a solo trip and am aware of the EP and EPA both provide. My challenge is figuring out which one I think would like most.

    Question about going March 12-15

Going to Universal for the first time since 2015 on March 12-15. I noticed that the parks are at their maximum hours (8-10) due to Orlando schools spring break and Mardi Gras. What would be a good touring plan for this time? I am thinking about doing EPA, taking a mid-day break and going back to...

Tickets and Annual Pass Questions - Please add your ticket questions to this thread

Booking a trip for May 2021 and know that Magic bands aren’t free. Would I be able to use my phone to get into the parks through MDE? I would lIke to not have to get a Key to the world card for the ticket only. I am going to use the app as much as possible there.

    Caribbean Beach vs Coronado Springs

I am looking into a May 2021 trip to WDW and see reasonable prices for Caribbean beach and Coronado Springs (less than $100 apart). I’m a single person traveling, so I’m not as tied to amenities. Which resort would people recommend? I know Caribbean beach has the Skyliner, but have heard mixed...

RotR Planning & Daily Boarding Group Discussion - *CLOSED*

Question for folks. How early does Resort Transit run with the early DHS openings? I am not going to have a car in April (if I go) and I really want to do ROTR. I get the feeling that it will still open early in April and will need to RD that day no matter what.

    Reagan Airport (DC) Parking Help

I would suggest parking at either Franconia-Springfeld, Huntington, Whirle-reston East or Greenbelt (depending where you are coming from) and taking the Metro to Reagan. The parking fills up at those stations quickly and has a daily cost of $8.95 per day during Monday-Friday. DC Metro Parking is...

Tickets and Annual Pass Questions - Please add your ticket questions to this thread

I have a question about the 4 Park Magic Tickets. If I add the Water Park option, Can I use the Water Park option on a separate day? It sounds like it would be over the same 7 day period as the Theme Park tickets, but want to make sure.

New SWGE Superthread! Now Open to All! (6/24/2019)

I think all of those factors are affecting whether people are coming. I am in Los Angeles next weekend and I will be doing other things besides Disneyland. Biggest factors for me was a friend who didn't want to do Disneyland (not a big Disney fan) and $149 day tickets. I'm surprised that Disney...

    Thanksgiving travel information

Traffic won't be terrible at that time. Most far away travelers have arrived at their destination and most local travelers haven't gotten up, so you will probably face a below average LA rush hour unless there are accidents on the way.
