    Renting house Offsite...Pros/Cons???

10 of us will be staying in a 5 bedroom 3000sf house for less than $200 a night. That is ridiculously cheap. I didn't do the math, but we have stood on site at POFQ and POR and this will save us tons of money. I enjoy staying on site and will do it again in the future.

Back from 16 Days at Disney

Sounds like you had a great trip. We only get to go every 3-4 years and rotate between on and off site too.

Is there really no way to re-use an old magic band?

Is there any way to tell beforehand if your battery is dead? My last trip was January 2014. We will be going back September 2016, but we will be staying offsite to save some cash. I was hoping to reuse the ones I have...

Leaving for Disney on 1/5; Not feeling excited

We leave for our "surprise" trip ( not telling the girls until we get to the airport ) on Saturday. I am super excited and am comfortable that the crowd levels will be very manageable. Planning for RD and hit the big ones then going with the flow after that.

    January 2014

We will be at POR from Jan 4 - 11. We originally planned it for Mardi Gras week in March but changed it just a couple of weeks ago. I had all my ADRs made and had to scramble to get new ones. I lost a few that I really wanted like Tusker House for breakfast. This will be a surprise trip for...

What park do you go to 1st and what is the 1st thing you do there?

Ditto! BTMRR is my choice. We get to MK at Rope Drop and get to Frontierland as fast as possible. Last trip we got there first and our group got "Sheriff" badges and got to ride BTMRR first with only ourselves and some cast members. That was a pretty magical experience!!

    Valentine's Day at WDW

We were there for Valentine's Day in 2010. We had an early dinner at Le Cellier, then hopped over to MK for evening EMH (park didn't close until sometime after midnight IIRC). We rode BTMRR during the fireworks and saw heart shaped fireworks as we were riding. That was pretty awesome and a...

Living in Disney means FOOD! My Disney Fine Dining Adventure: UPDATE The Wave

We will be staying at Port Orleans Riverside this March. The food looks good at Boatwright's, but being from Louisiana I am pretty picky about my cajun food... My wife gives me grief because I always want to see what other restaurants outside of Louisiana consider cajun food to be. I am...
