Courtyard Marriott (Hotel Circle) OR Double Tree Mission Valley??

We have stayed at both these hotels, and out of the two, I would go with the Courtyard. It is very new and fresh inside and we had no problems at all. That being said, we just had a one night stay in San Diego, and stayed at the Best Western Plus Island Palms on Shelter Island. It was like a...

When is your Spring Break 2011?

Actually here in Calgary the main CBE break is March 28 to April 3. The year round schools have from March 28 until April 10. My DD attends a regular school, and we will just miss 4 days of classes to have a 2 week break. I am a school bus driver, so I have to work the trips out to miss the...

    Parking for MM question.

Thanks for the help so far. Staying in walking distance is not an option as hotel is booked via hotwire. We were the 3rd car in line the last time we parked at M&F lot. Our hotel has a shuttle, but it starts 1 hour before park opening, so not much help for MM. Looks like I will stick to our...

    Parking for MM question.

Maybe because it was off season(if there even is one anymore). The park opened at 10 am and they did not open Mickey and Friends until 8:45, so by the time we parked and took the tram and walked to the gates, it was 9:20. I did not want a repeat of the frustrating wait this year.

    Parking for MM question.

Last time we tried to park at Mickey and Friends lot on our MM day, we waited for them to open the lot and lost about 20min of our time. If the Mickey and Friends lot only opens 1 hour before park opening, and MM is one hour before general park opening, where do you park so you can be in line...

    Where to stay near Knott's?

Even if you stay in a regular room at the Knotts hotel, Snoopy makes an apperance every morning and every night in the lobby and restaurant. He poses for photos and will sign their autograph books too. We also like shopping the little stores on the main strip of Knotts when the park was closed.

    Where to stay near Knott's?

We have stayed at the Knotts resort itself twice before and had a great stay. They have pretty decent rates. Also the Radisson on Beach Blvd is right beside Medival times, about a 5 min walk from Knotts. They used to be an Embassy Suites so good sized rooms, and they include a breakfast buffet.

    Parking at DL or PPH

You get 3 hours of free parking at PPH with your character breakfast. I am not sure what the rate is after that time is up. We did this for our breakfast and had time for a quick trip into DL after breakfast. * just checked on the Disney website, it says it is 5 hours free parking when dining*

Renting a car from LAX- car seat question added ~*EDIT*~

We have used Thrifty several times and will use them again and again. They(like all LAX Companies) have shuttles that run back and forth to their facility. It takes a couple of min to get to them. You can also check out carrentals.com website to see the prices of all LAX rental companies in one...

    HoJO Fullerton

We stayed there 2 years ago, and it was the Anaheim Park Hotel then, it had previously been a Wyndham hotel. We have booked this hotel for March based on our past stay. It changed to a Hojos after we booked. It is about 15 min away from the park by shuttle(they provide free of charge). Rooms...

plans changed, now not sure what hotel

I just have to add that I love StayBridge! It was our favorite stay out of the 6 times travelling to the anaheim area. The space was nice after all day at the park, the breakfast was yummy, and the pool area with BBQ was really nice too. I would stick with Staybridge.

    Universal in December question...

Yes, it is. We had DD with us and most tables were families. I think they get a lot of kids while Universal is open, and turns more into a party atmosphere much later. They even gave us a free dessert which was the biggest most delicious apple crumble I have ever had.

    Universal in December question...

HaHa yes, the only reason it stands out is that we have a photo of our 7 year old(at the time) sitting under him with her arms streched upwards, it was so funny. I highly reccomed the Saddle Ranch Chop House at the Citywalk. Everything was so delish!

    Universal in December question...

I would for sure pick the weekday even with the one hour less. Every attraction should be close to a walk on, and you should easily be done everything by about 3:30-4:00. From what I recall, there are a few decorations, but nothing even close to Disneylands. A giant sized Nut Cracker Doll is all...

Pat-E-Cake birthday thing (and Medieval Times)

I have not done the PatE Cake birthday before, but as for Medieval times, I know they ask you to be there at least an hour before show time. I think you will have to pick the later show.
