That’s right! What those poor people on the Sun dealt with and still dealing with is unreal! I had a friend on that cruise and she is still dealing with issues from it - and NCL has been a nightmare for her to deal with. Well, I should say all she hears from them is crickets.

While I have never sailed with NCL I don’t think I ever could after seeing what happened to guests on the Sun. I had a friend sail on the Sun and the nightmare and response from NCL is aweful and scary to say the least!

Did you like the location of the room? I’m afraid it might be far away from everything. What about vibrations?

Hi everyone - We booked 8518 on the Dream and asked our TA To make sure it had a pull down bunk. I can’t find and reviews in regard to this room. Has anyone sailed in this room? Does it have a bunk? Do you like this room and location? We will be sailing with a 12yr and 8yrbokd at the time...

Thanks for your replies! I have cruised before, and have always stayed midship. With some motion sickness meds I usually am perfectly OK unless having really rough seas.

Anyone have a favorite room in this category? Is it worth doing the deluxe family? I’m worried because these room seem to very forward or back on the ships and I’m prone to motion sickness! We also have a light sleeper in our group so don’t want a room with a lot of sound. TIA
