What don't you want to forget when you are packin!?!?!?

I print out the Disney Ultimate Packing list for every trip, then I scratch through 50% of it. :lmao: My major don't forget items are: Park bag wet wipes children's tylenol ziplocks camera cell phone tickets I'm not going to leave the house without clothes, so I'm more worried about...

Do you wake your kids up when in WDW?

They don't call me "sarge" for no reason. I'm up at 6, showered and dressed in time to wake everyone else up by 6:30. Out the door by 7:30 for breakfast and RD. Since we tend to go in the off season, it's so much easier to do. The parks close earlier, so we're in bed earlier. And RD is...

    Vera Bradley Backpack

I love my On the Go for trips where I'm not taking my big camera bag. It's a great cross body. And my strap is longer than the strap on the Libby, which I also own. I carry Vera's all the time.:goodvibes

What COST took you by suprise?

I can't say that it surprises me, but a hooded sweatshirt that costs $50 is not worth my $$$. My MIL bought them for the kids 2 years ago at $40 each. I had a hard time stomaching that!

    Baby Sling...

I preferred a mama made pouch sling for the little ones. Then I moved onto the Mei Tai. There are tons of mom's on diaperswappers.com that make them.

    Strollers?

Oh- we used the stroller lock when we took 2 umbrella strollers. That was the year AFTER our stroller was stolen in MK. This year we only took 1, so I just prayed it would be there everytime I came back.;)

    Strollers?

We use the 2 bag trick, too. We keep the collapsible cooler in the bottom of the stroller with drinks and ice. Then I put the snacks in a ziplock inside the cooler. Jackets (we go in Jan or Feb) get put in the bottom of the stroller. All valuables, autograph books, lovies, etc. go into the bag...

    What age..no more stroller

But you're NOT a parent of a 4 or 5 year old, so.....:rolleyes1 I'm gonna give you the line my sister always gives me "you'll understand when____________." You haven't gotten to that "when" yet. The older you get and the older your child gets, the less judging you will do of others. Bless...

    What age..no more stroller

I think this thread has given some very reasonable explanations for why older kids would be in a stroller. It sounds like you have one child that is 2? How do you know at the age of 4 that he will not need a stroller? It's easy to say "never" when you've yet to cross that bridge. And to be...

    What age..no more stroller

We took 2 with us last year for my DS's 7th b-day trip. We only used one the whole week. DS decided that he'd rather walk. This year we only took one for DD (5.5) and she used it 50% of the time. I made her get in it at night when the park closed. It made me feel better.;) When we stop using...

Spacemountain... Deciding to let 5 yr old ride

This is exactly what we did with our DD. But when she got off she told anyone that would listen that she couldn't ride it again until she got the "alien out of her belly" that SM put there.:rotfl: Obviously, she wouldn't be helpful in encouraging another kid to ride it.:rotfl2:

    Hotel Surprises and Disappointments??

Biggest Surprise - we love Pop! I'm ready to stay there again! Biggest Disappointment - CBR's mousekeeping. We loved everything else about the resort, but the room was WAY BELOW my expectations of a "clean" room.
