Why no body lotion? I'm finally posting!

Well one thing's for sure, right?: there's no standard operating procedure re the lotion! Varies by resort and even by stay, according to the posts. As I said originally, I know lotion was not on the housekeeping lists for my DVC resorts when I checked (BCV and AKL I believe), though it was on...

Why no body lotion? I'm finally posting!

I just returned from Orlando and was thrilled to see this discussion with all the excellent responses from our community. Still no lotion at BCV but now I'll try to see the cash/dvc distinction as cost savings rather than second class status. Well, I'll try.

Why no body lotion? I'm finally posting!

Forgive me if this has been discussed previously but I didn't see anything when I searched. I am at a loss to understand why, in at least some of the DVC resorts (AKL, Wilderness, BCV, Boardwalk, judging by recent stays in studio rooms), the DVC toiletries as determined by the housekeeping list...

    Extending the day

Oh sorry, didnt mean I wouldnt want to go to Mickey's--just meant, I'm assuming it's like chef mickeys....It sounds good- or yes, it might be fun to go to the Disneyland Hotel --imagine we could eat at the Hotel and still have time to go over to the village to see what's doing there--or reverse...

    Extending the day

Thank you. We're quite the experienced WDW'ers- ask us anything! But this is all new. Peter Pan is our favorite so we'll hit that first, plus get a fast pass for a return voyage, thanks. I'll read up on mickey's but it sounds like it's similar to chef mickeys at wdw?

    Extending the day

We're just coming for the day from the Latin Quarter, by rer, on Tuesday, May 16th, when the park is only open from 10-6. We are MAJOR Disney fans! Any ideas on how best to extend the day, with an early breakfast somewhere and dinner after the park closes? Are there any restaurants in the park...

    Breakfast before opening

I see from another post that the early breakfasts in the park are available only to guests of certain disneyland resorts. I'll post a revised question thanks.

    Breakfast before opening

Hello! We're going to be in DP mid may and were wondering if there were any breakfast restaurants in the Disneyland Park itself that would allow us to enter the park early, like the Crystal Palace in WDW. Thank you! :wizard: :yay:

The souvenir you WISH Disney made that they don't

I am always hoping they'll make a really great disney world charm bracelet, or individual charms, that feature all the lands and attractions. In general, I'd like more park souveniers to compliment the character ones.

Here's A Magic Kingdom Restaurant Not To Be Missed

In June the restaurant was closed and we were told they were transitioning to a new italian style menu. we were sad to miss our usual hamburgers that trip, but sounds like it was worth it!

    sneak peek at Small World

Last week we ate at the Pinnochio restaurant in Fantasyland. The windows that overlook Small World from the restaurant have been covered up by some sort of black paint. However, we noticed a scratch in the paint and a few holes, and were able to peek into the under-construction ride.Saw the...

taxi vs town car from airport

Wanted to report in that we decided to take a taxi both ways and it worked out great for us.We liked walking out to the waiting cab--for some reason we've had a few hangups with being met by town car services in the past--and the drivers and cabs were fine. The fare to port orleans was less...

    fireworks noise strategies

Hi, this is DD back from our wonderful disney vacation. We brought "hearos", foam ear plugs, and I gave them a shot when on Main Street. I was able to watch Wishes without any discomfort! The earplugs allow the music of the show to be heard but softened the sound of the fireworks. Though I could...

taxi vs town car from airport

It's just two of us going from the Orlando Airport to Port Orleans. We wont be needing a grocery stop. And in the past we've had a few bad experiences with Fla tours , in terms of having to wait around for the driver which sort of defeated the purpose... So Im wondering if we'd be better off...

    fireworks noise strategies

From DD- Thank you so much for your suggestions. After finding my mother had posted about my--somewhat embarassing-- aversion, I was excited to see the helpful response. Fireworks do look great, but my sensitive ears (maybe due to loud rock and roll... :rockband: ) can't handle them. I have a...
