“Disney Drop” mystery box from Disney+?

We got a box last year. They must randomly select subscribers for the promotion. It was worth about $150 worth of nice stuff. None of it is left over park merchandise except maybe the lollipops that were in our box. We picked a Mickey Mouse themed box.

The good, the bad, the ugly of driving down... Tell me your stories!

We drove to the west coast of Florida last Christmas break. On the way south it is fun for the kids to count down the miles to the next state border. The one thing you have to watch is when you are going through major cities, you don't want to hit rush hour. We ran into huge traffic jams from...

EPCOT is a dirty word - August 2016 trip report

I would highly recommend Wolfgang Puck's Express. Outside of the experience that comes with Cinderella's Royal Table WPE was the best meal I've had at Disney. The Tie Dye Cheesecake was a disappointment after reading all the hype. Enjoy the memories being made.

*Truck and Towing thread........ask your questions here.*

I have been planning a trip back to the Campground since we bought out TT two years ago. My question is - I want to do a split between the campground and a resort. What is the procedure for storing the camper while you are at the hotel?

Cant decide - Riverside or French Qtr

POFQ is the resort I really want to stay on our next trip. Unfortunately there never seems to be a discount for this resort so we will likely stay elsewhere. We have stayed in the Bayou and liked the rooms. I definitely recommend going where your money will go further.

cm said I cannot change my stay

Right now people have money and are willing to spend it. As such, places like Disney can make the rules to suit them. When the economy was bad they were willing to do whatever they could to draw us in.

Going to Disney World for the FIRST Time this June need advice

Welcome to the Boards. This site is my main source of information when planing my trips to WDW. My first suggestion would be to add a fourth day to your ticket and drop the park hopper. If I remember correctly the price per day drops dramatically starting on the fourth day. You will spend so...

    Who's already planning for 2017 or 2018

I am already planning our 2017 trip. Our teen son developed anxiety issues the last time we went down (2012) and I am hoping he will be able to travel distances by then. Also we bought our first travel trailer last year so that will factor into our trip. The plan I have is to drive down and...

Pictures of things No Longer Seen at WDW

The old Figment ride was so much better than the current one.

First time at Fort Wilderness-a few questions

It has been a long time since we stayed in the cabins but I don't remember the beds being uncomfortable. I agree with PP that carts are unnecessary. You can always try and get one if you feel you need it. Put in a request for a cabin close to a bus stop.

    Dining plan VS no plan.

When we went we found the savings was in the deserts. If we didn't have deserts it would have been the price of the plan. Then again the plan was part of the package so we didn't lose. Free plan yes, pay for it no.

Disney trip with one parents and two kids?

If you can afford the ticket I would say bring him along. He may not be able to go to the parks but I bet the kids would love to tell him their adventures at the end of the day. You could also spend time at the hotel pool together,he wont work all day.

    Which resort to choose?

Wow, this is a tough one. With such differing reasons for going away, compromise is going to be tough. Since mom has points for a free hotel and wants to just pool it I would likely stay off property. I am going to make an assumption that the Marriot is near DTD so you can grab the bus there...

How do you build the excitement?

Kids live for today, don't over do it. I am the biggest Disney fanatic in our family and drove my wife and kids crazy before our last trip. At this point your trip is around the corner. Download maps and watch some videos to plan your trip.

Looking for tips on 1st trip with 13 month old

We took a 6 mo old on our first family trip to Disney. As far as a car seat, unless you are renting a car, pass. There are only a handful of car seats that are rated for airplanes. Save the money and lap it if you can. Chances are you will be holding the little one most of the flight anyway...
