POFQ is just very quaint. It is smaller than other Mod resorts, maybe that is why so many people love it. Short walks to the food court, pool and the bus stop. And it near to POR.

Was at S&D in 2006. The pool was great. During the day they set up a mobile bar and make frozen drinks. My kids 11 & 8 both loved the slides and the waterfall. You can rent rafts and life jackets. There is food service near by and a full service bar. There is also a lap pool too.

The last 2 times I've been to WDW has been at the end of August (2004 & 2006). The crowds are not that bad, school down south return earlier than in New York. Wait times at MK, Disney Studio are about 20-30 minutes. AK about 30 minutes and Epcot about the same. The heat is the issue. It is...

I am also book during Labor Day, 8/27 - 9/3. I was told that the weekend gets crazy but the Tues it is quiet.

The Swan and Dolphin have the same beds. OMG they are great!!!! I was there 2 years ago and still talk about the great night sleep I had the week I was there.

I just read that WDW is planning a 5th park called "Disney's Night Kingdom". Has anyone have any information on this?? The article said that this park is to be opened in 2011.:confused3

If you are looking for a "quiet" Mod, look into POFQ. Very nice mod and quiet. Close to everything. I stayed there 4 years ago and was very pleased.

GAC's helped my family greatly. Please don't let your childs condition hold you back. The CMs are very helpful and will do there best to help. If you can get a letter from your childs doctor that explains everything, this will only help. Enjoy you trip.

Never too HOT to Swim!!! I was there in Aug 06. We stayed at the Dolphin. The pool was just outstanding. What was also great was as my DD's swam myself and my DW enjoyed some cool adult drinks at pool side. So as to being too hot to enjoy the pool in Aug, don't you worry. :wizard: Me...

My last 2 trips to WDW have been at the end of Aug. The weather is HOT & MUGGY. The crowds are OK, about 20 to 30 min waits. It rains off and on but when it does come down, it rains hard for 20 mins and that is it. I myself love it at this time of the year. Schools are back in session in...

I just received the lastest WDW Vacation DVD. I the booklets they do not show the Dolphin & Swan as a delux hotel. I know the Dolphin & Swan are not WDW owned hotels, but they did offer transportation to an from the parks. Is this still the case??

There are a height requirements to ride all WDW rides. The CM's will tell you prior to entering the ride if you are tall enough with or with out a parent and or adult. It is up to the adult to watch their child. I have 2 DD's. One is 10 and tall for her age the other is 6, average height...
