    Disney's ALL-STAR SPORTS RESORT Information & Questions

I've got about 3 months. To be perfectly honest, this is my least favorite resort. I don't care for the All Stars and hate sports (not the resort: just sports in general), but it fits my schedule and the price is right, especially with free dining! I'm also looking forward to the new food court...

Umbrellas in park for the heat?

Common sense should help you in when and where to use them. I have used umbrellas, especially when carrying a baby in a baby carrier.

    Calling all Chicago DISers #3

Hey, Disers! Just had my 4th baby a little over a week ago. Been a busy summer, but things should quiet down somewhat once the older 2 head back to school. I took my oldest to high school registration today! I am also happily looking forward to a November trip with my dad and the two littlest...

    carrier for newborn at wdw?

I'm a fan of the sash mei tai. It's cozy like a wrap bit cuts out a lot of the length, thereby reducing the amount of fabric around you. It's easy to wrap and also inexpensive.

Official Breast Feeding Support Thread for WDW Parks

Just joining, ladies! Nursing my 4th child who is just over a week old. I nursed my first to 9 months. My second and third both nursed over two years. I love the baby care facilities at the parks mainly because we typically travel in the summer and it gives me a cool place to sit for a while...

Do you use your Hotel pool

My kids do, but I think your run of the mill indoor pool is always cold! My kids come out with blue lips! I do swim in Disney.

The good, the bad, and the ugly: ASMu?

Thanks. My least favorite wdw hotel is still a Disney hotel. I'm really looking forward to the trip. We usually go in summer, but I can't handle the heat and walking at 7 mos preg. This will be a nice, inexpensive trip with me, grandma, and my two littlest ones. I can't wait for free food...

The good, the bad, and the ugly: ASMu?

Thanks, all. I just called today and switched to Sports. I really don't want to deal with the food court being closed at Music. I'm not a sports fan at all, so I'd never choose Sports, but I am a fan of cheaper wdw trips, so this will do. Thanks for the advice!

The good, the bad, and the ugly: ASMu?

Thanks! I just read that the food court will be refurbed while there, so I may switch to sports. Busses aren't too big of a deal because we will rent a car and only bus to MK.

The good, the bad, and the ugly: ASMu?

My mom and I are taking the two babies (4 mos. and almost 3 yrs.) to WDW in Nov. We usually stay at CSR but couldn't get into that or any other mod during our trip time. I want to take advantage of free dining and go before ds is 3 in Dec. so this is it: ASMu or sports were all that were...

    Foot in mouth situation

Ooh, I thought of another one: I was taking to my freshman class and combined "fair" and "part" to say "fart." There's no recovering from fart humor in a class of 14 year olds!

    Disney's Magical World for DS?

Who's playing? I am not a gamer and only play Animal Crossing. This game is cute, but I'm already stuck: I can't find his majesty's card!

    Foot in mouth situation

Dh and I were in a restaurant, chatting with our very sweet server. We were talking about something that was helpful (I don't remember what: dh and I have both served, so it was something along the lines of what makes the job easier. I said, " Oh, that must be handy!" Then I noticed that one of...

When did you start potty training?

My older two were both around 2 1/2 or so, but ds continued to have accidents for longer. Dd was like flipping a switch: when she started going in the potty, she quit wearing a diaper. My littlest is 26 months and working on it. He will sometimes go on the potty. I will try to get him fully...

Giving pop to very young children

Oh, OP, I can beat that...I had 6 month old ds on a flight to WDW. He was freaking out. I gave him drops of Sprite from my straw, but it was in he interest of other passengers' sanity!

Driving Around the World v Buses

Last time we drove everywhere but mk. It was much quicker and more convenient than busses, but we travel in summer when it is hot and crowded.

Have you heard of "attachment style parenting"?

Littlest ds slept in bed with me and did continue to nurse quite frequently throughout the night for a long time, but as a pp said, I would barely wake up. Up until recently, he would still nurse a few times a night (day time nursings I cut out a few months ago). I recently night time weaned...
