In this day and age no school is gonna keep a child back because of days out. Costs too much. There will be an appeal process and rest assured they will be promoted.

We stayed at the Cocoa Beach Hilton. Was very nice and got a great internet rate.

Thanks. Yes I am going to book the SSR at 11 months then try to switch it. Read that other thread too, thanks for the heads up. I will be happy at either resort, and I'm sure the kids will be too, they are just excited by the thought of seeing the animals out the window when they wake up.

Anybody have any experience getting a savanah view at 7 months out. I would be happy at SSR with an 11 month booking, but, you know the kids want to see the animals from the room. This trip would be the end of Jan. 2009. Thanks for any experiences you can share, lou

Be glad. To be honest, although it was a once in a lifetime experience for my family and I, the expense and time wasted getting there(it is in another country) is not really worth it.

Eastern, great ports....LOVE THE SEA DAYS

The Hilton worked great for us. Nice internet rate and the place was clean. Right on the beach.

It is a long pole so you can actually fish off the boat.

We got a free upgrade from cat 11 to 10 and used points. Came home one day and there was a message from disney about the upgrade. Just luck of the draw I guess.

We stayed at the Hilton in January. Right on the beach, clean and a very attentive staff. The internet rate was good. Think we paid $125 plus tax and got a free upgrade to oceanview.

We stayed there in Jan. before our eastern. I found it to be a nice hotel with no odd smells. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and I would stay there again in a minute.
