Southwest Park Ticket Offer

That sounds like it failed to load the image file for the barcode. If you have the 12 digit Disney Reservation Number above that box, I think you'll be OK. That number is all you need to link them on MDE, at least.

Same thing happened to me today when I opened it on my iphone. On my, PC, the bar code showed up. I just successfully linked them to my MDE this morning with the 10:15 email they sent me.
Thanks! I had opened the email and printed the confirmation from my iPad. When I checked the email on my laptop just now, the barcode was there! :teeth:

Since the SW price of $368 includes tax does that mean the savings is $83.56? Or will the savings be calculated on the value of 6 day PH pre-tax so $56?

We bought ours last night but not going until April. We have the confirmation which states we will get the barcode 60 days prior or we can pick them up at Will Call. I guess I could call and tell them we are going earlier but I think we'll be ok with waiting until February since we have the reservation number confirmation. We're offsite so we can't book FP until 30 days out.

I'm not going until the end of April either, I'm with you I'd rather have my tickets now! If I buy them now can I link them now so they'll be in MDE until I'm ready to use them?

I could probably call and change the dates but if they are linked to MB's are they still refundable if you have to cancel for any reason?

No. Other 3rd-party ticket sellers do not provide refunds if tickets are linked to MDE. Once they are linked to MDE, they can't be unlinked from the system.

They can remain in your account until you use them in the future. Or, you can reassign them to anyone listed or linked to your MDE.

Okay, so I want to make sure I have this correct. I want to purchase two 10-day base tickets. From WDW, it is $852.

From SWA, I can get two 6-day base tickets for $618.

The gate price of the 6-day base tickets are $756.

So, WDW will bridge the tickets' value when I upgrade? So, I would pay the difference between $852 and $756? $96? So, I've saved $138?

And, the WDW tickets don't actually expire? So, even though it says travel by late April, I can use them for my trip in late May 2017?

Yes to all your questions.

Okay, I also did a search on Expedia (since first poster mentioned that deal) and saw that their tickets "expire" 12/31/16. But it's the same thing as SWA, where they don't actually expire?

WDW tickets do not expire. @Robo posted on the 1st page of this thread:
Despite the date that some resellers request for their own internal bookkeeping purposes, MagicYourWay tickets are not dated.

Once you obtain them, they do not expire, and can be used any time.

First, everyone keeps talking about parksavers.com but every ticket option I have compared, touringplans.com > official ticketing center is cheaper.

Anyway, if you buy any ticket that is less then your desired ticket (6day and want 7) then bridge it, you can not book FP+ in advance for the extra day(s) correct, Because you can't bridge it until you are at Disney?

Second, if I was to buy a child ticket now for my 9 yr old and link it to him, then he turns 10 when we use it is that an issue?
In my MDE account t it has his age linked to him name.
TIA

If you know it won't be used until he is 10, add a fake 10 year old to your MDE and link the ticket there. Reassign to your son when he turns 10.

Correct.

??
Not sure why I would need a fake name.
I am just trying to see if it is possible to have a child priced ticket linked to him now even thought it wouldn't be used till he is "adult" age.
Orrrr if that would cause an issue and they would make me upgrade to the adult price once we got there.

If you know an adult will be using the ticket in the future, it's easier to buy the adult ticket now.

If ticket prices get raised, you'll be paying more later to upgrade to new/higher adult prices.

I am a little confused so maybe someone can help me. I've never purchased tickets in advance and added them to my MDE account for future use. We are planning to go on a trip in the next 1.5 years with the kids' grandparents. I'd like to purchase the tickets and retain them until that trip just in case something happens and that trip doesn't happen. Can I purchase the tickets and put them all in my name on MDE and then reassign them once we are sure they're going? Some referenced a fake name but is there a way to remove a name from your MDE later? I actually have kids linked on my MDE from a couple years ago that I'd like to remove if that's possible.
